Hope restored.

TIGER will be released on the 29th. So long iSync forever, hello SyncML.
*edited on a Mac of course. Mac: There is no substitute*

N82(YES), iPhone 3G, Shure es530, Nikon D300, more stuff. No more SE stuff, why am I still here?

How do I connect my Mac via Bluetooth to a SonyEricsson and then on to the internet. I can't get it to work. I managed to do it with my SE-T630 but no luck doing the same thing with the k600.

Any advice? Scripts? Links?

Thanks!

How do I change the phone type in the phonebook? On my Nokia, I could select a phone number and easily change it from mobile to work phone or vice versa. I need to do this because while synchronizing information from old Nokia something went wrong and phone numbers are not categorized correctly. Also, is it possible to change all the information on my mac's addressbook and push it to the phone? I am using isync 2.0. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

WOW what a 5yr thread BUMP!!

You are the ONLY person I've ever heard that STILL uses a K700i ... a friend at work used it up till last week of September for 5yrs as his main and only phone!

Well if your MacBook is an Intel based machine, most likely, then install BootCamp of your Tiger DVD. Then install WinXP Home/Pro (any service pack) and ReBOOT the MacBook holding down the Option key RIGHT from power button press just after the Mac Tone, keep holding it down until the Startup Manager loads and select the Windows installation. Then in Windows you can update your firmware.

I don't think SE has a Mac Firmware installation; but I cannot say and it IS done in flash so its possible it'll work in Tiger.

Bon Chance mate.

@Prom1 wow! i didn't notice it.. 5 years silent! well i'm using my k700i for two years now and [yes, i admit] it's a legacy phone.. my parents hate this phone of mine.. tzk tzk tzk, shame on them..

anyways, back to the topic.. i don't like installing Windows on my MacBook as i fear of somthing bad will happen on the Mac..

speaking of Windows, i have a Windows 2000 Professional-based pentium 1 laptop w/ 32MB of RAM.. can the firmware update service will [somewhat] work?! thanks anyways! more power! ^_^

Your Win2K will suffice. Don't worry about Windows on Dual boot on your Mac, its more robust and you can always use the DVD to reinstall components or load into a REAL safe boot to determine issues or uninstall the bootcamp.

iSync - use Spotlight to launch it (Command+SpaceBar) to search if you're not use to Finder.
Launch it, don't forget to enable Bluetooth in System Prefs, and on the K700. Pair and enable autosync on both (so it doesn't prompt you to ask).

If I recall .... back in 2002 when Apple launched OS X Bluetooth support it was done right (unlike MS in Win2K/XP) and it supported K700 directly. I recall the T616 as well being fully supported.
