@nils7: Thanks. Fortunately, I am in no hurry. My P800 is still quite capable enough to satisfy me :D

It's a pitty for those who waited for it, but the MpX I tested 2 months ago was very buggy. And a bad camera! I opened and closed it 3 times rapidly and it crashed, it never went on that evening again!
For those who wait for it, don't buy it the XDA2 has better specs and works better/stable than the MpX.
Go for Imate Jam with WiFi SD! It is a good alternative for the moment. |

@nils7: Shame the thing turned out that way; innit? I had fallen so much in love with the feature set. Oh well. Seen the i-mate JAM, and masseur especially speaks glowingly of it. Sadly, no store I know retails it here in Naija. Any chance the MPx bugs get fixed? :)

MPx sucks cow eggs... unfortunately.
You'd be better off with a mini, although I think that's a piece of crap as well...
only feasible choice? The xdaIIi or xdaIIi
there you go. |

No it's a lack of hardware....
Therefor Motorola will present a new device which could be a good competitor for SE's new smartphone. |

according to phonescoop the MPx is now officially cancelled for general release though it had been on sale in limited numbers in "Malaysia and several smaller Asian countries"

Well good riddance I say.
Had one for a week, bought it at ebay from Hong Kong! It cost me a fortune....
Lucikly I realized my mistake and sold it with profit!
The idea in general i svery good, and the formfactor was cool, to bad there where so many bugs and outdated firmware...

Hi, I am a new member. I am from Indonesia (Jakarta). I already used "Motorola MPX / MPX 300" (not engineering version). My friend told me the different between "Engineering Version" with "Full Version" is the battery. For "Engineering Version", the battery can't long time. But for "Full Version", the battery doesn't have problem like "Engineering Version". I already used that mobile.
For standby, the battery can hold until around 3 days. If you busy to use, the battery can hold for 1 day. |
