T68i and sync issues under WXP... |

Hello all...
I'm sorry for sending here this question, but I've been reading a lot of Q&A here and no one works for me...
Environment:
- T68i (Originally free)
- SIM from Vodafone spain
- IBM ThinkPad laptop that has Bluetooth.
- Windows XP Pro
- The latest mobile phone monitor installed (from sonyericsson.com)
- The latest communication package: Package1_1.5.9.2.exe installed
- Also the MobileModemSettingsDrivers_R3A_english installed
When I connect the bluetooth in my T68i, then the laptop finds it and asks to install for it... but it do install a "standard modem over BT...".
even if I have uninstalled this automatically detected modem and installed manually the T68 one selecting the drivers in the list... nothing works...
I need to syncronize the contacts and to be able to use all the power of my T68i (I'd bought it in order to do so...) but I cannot do it.
Could anybody try to tell me why this is happening to me? or the steps that I should follow?
thank you in advance. | |

In Control Panel, go into the phone monitor options, under COM Ports, enable all the com ports, (also reserve them if you wish). the next time you try to sync, A wizard will appear (you may need to wait upto a minute so be patient)
everything should work from there. |

I believe with the widcomm drivers, all phones get installed as 'Standard Phone over Bluetooth' | |
