i heard those complaints already when globe was just starting 5 years ago, when i had my first globe. remember, patience is a virtue.. besides, pinilit ba kayo ng sun na mag subscribe? just asking...

@gig, wapsite pala yung sinasabi mo, .. anyways, meron na silang wapsite ngayon.

yung nagrereklamo sa billing, ano ba yung problema sa billing mo? i must've experienced same thing, ngayon kase, maayos na ang pagbill nila sakin.

I'm currently in Redlands, California, USA.

And i REALLY HATE GLOBE!!! before I left for the US, I bought 2 Globe Prepaid SIMs and 1 Talk 'N Text SIM. I loaded P300 worth of credits in all of those SIM cards, and had the Prepaid International Roaming Services activated. I even had the activation confirmed and they said it is really activated. I brought 2 tri-band phones with me.

When I arrived in the US, May 14, I tried using the SIM cards. The Talk 'N Text SIM card's international roaming service is working just fine. By the way, there are two available networks in my area, Cingular and AT&T Wireless. Talk 'N Text was roaming on both networks.

But what do you expect? The 2 Globe Prepaid SIM cards i brought with me are NOT able to roam on both networks. Even using both celfones, and trying MANUAL network selection, the only message displayed as a result is "No Access".

Is that what Globe calls "Making Great Things Possible" ???
Ipinagmamalaki pa nila na they have "Call & Text roaming", unlike Smart/TNT that only offers "Text Roaming".
Pero ano? WALA NAMAN SILANG SILBI!!! Sayang lang ung P600 na ni-load ko sa parehong SIM card. MGA INUTIL KAYO DYAN SA GLOBE!!!
P^#$^&IN@ NYO!!!

Pag-isipin nyo itong mabuti. Don't waste your money. Payong kaibigan lang mga kababayan.

Peace out! =)

globe blocking wapsites...
yeah true... i don't really use GPRS as 'extensively' pero i'd like to use it while commuting (via MRT) to the office and read stuff like news and other shiznit available... like wired.com. so i switched to addictmobile. heh, no problems (yet!)

hmm... as cutomers of 3 networks here's what i can say:

GLOBE: free GPRS sessions/connection (except download ON their sit)
unlocked Yahoo! wap site(for Mobile Messenger,Mail,News, etc.)
unlocked Nokia wapsite
other phone manufacturer's wapsite locked (major dzaster!)
SMART: P0.25 per kb on ALL gprs session.
most wap sites unlocked
most phone manufacturer's wapsite unlocked (SE,Nokia, etc.)
SUN: gprs still predictable
INDEFINITE browsing charges (just noticed this last week)
still needs improvement.

THe other carriers are also carried by these 3 networks:
Globe: Touch Mobile and Islacom (dunno if Islacom's alive)
Smart: Addict, Talk&Text, Smart Gold
Sun: Digitel GSM

Hi, how true is it that Sun permits sending and receiving MMS between Sun subscribers only?

I'm a Globe user for almost 9 years now. Never had a major complaint about their services. I guess what's important is in any case of doubt or problem, call them. More often than not, if it's not the service causing the problem, it may be the phone that needs configuring. Configurations differ not only in phone brands and models, but also in providers.
