Well, I think I discovered the R3B bug. The phone went into a total freeze without (almost) any reason. Fortunetly, at the time, I was on my way to the service center, so I made it their problem.. Should be getting the phone back in an hour, unless R3B fried the circuit board

The same situation, T610 freeze during the navigation in menu, happened to me saturday with the new R3B version.
I was able to power off the phone but when i turned on the screen remain blank.
The only way to unfreeze the phone was disconnect the Sim Card, not only the battery !

Very strange, this afternoon i go to upgrade at R3C.

Bye

I'm still searching for some changes.

The first thing I noticed is that the T610 seems to have a better reception signal than before.

The 00 / 000 problem seems to be solved in my phone.

Since the R3B firmware version is discontinued, perhaps we should continue the discussion here, in the R3C thread.
If I had all the answers, I wouldn't have any questions.

for those who wonders why R3C was released so soon after R3B... R3B contained an error causing the phone to be very slow if you used WAP and browsed to the same WAP site more than 10 times... meaning it wouldn't have been a good version for all Esato WAP users

got my phone updated today at the carphone warehouse from R1A to R1L but they didn't put R3C on it. Is this because its a orange t610e (don't hate me) and orange haven't released there latest version of the fimware.

the other good thing was that none of the contacts/ringtones etc were deleted.

if R3C aint out on orange any idea when its coming out?

You are correct. Orange don't have any different firmware revison to what SE install on the phone.
Orange only brand there phone so you get instant access to there Wapsites and use the Orange features. These are programmed in from te very begining and will never get removed on just a firmware update at a SE service Centre.
T-Mobile and O2 also use the same firmware which is at present R4C003.
Vodafone is the only Network to have its own specific firmware which is at present R4D003 (I think)
If CPW told you that Orange hasnt released a latest firmware then some where alone the line they are telling you porkies. Orange dont release firmware only SE, this also goes for vodafone(they just have a different release due to the Live Icons..errr)

hope this Helps
