The should be a checkbox somewhere on that dialog to automatically allow access every time.
If I had all the answers, I wouldn't have any questions.

No, there is no option in outlook, only in outlook express.

The usual suggestion is to download a program called ClickYes but its not what I recommend since viruses, which this feature of outlook is trying to stop from easily propogating, will also be allowed access.

So, you have been warned!

Very strange.
I use Outlook 2000, never use express
First time I installed it asked me if it should give access to the program. I clicked "yes" + another option to always give access to that program. The message never popped up again.

I have reinstalled the whole system since then. Newest versions of all software, this time I never got such a message....

I'm using Office XP and hence Outlook XP and though I synched with T68/T68i and various Ipaq and Palm PCs it wasn't until I got a P800 that I saw that message and it was every time I synced with the P800.

Since selling the P800 and reverting to the T610 I have never seen it again.

I have no idea and have never bothered to investigate.

I don't really remember, but I might have been running Exchange server + had Outlook 2000 set up to work with Exchange server when I got that message. However I do remember, that when that happened I definetly had the option to always grant access...

hmmm.. I never saw an option to allways allow. I think 10 minutes was the most.

Certainly this problem has been asked a few times on esato and the fact someone would bother writing software for it suggests that more people are experiencing this too.

Anyway... its up to you...

I will try to simulate the problem, and see if I can get to the bottom of this.

I havn't yet been successfull in simulating the problem. Have you tried updating your Outlook with latest service packs from here.

Then I am all out of ideas. I can't get that message to show again...

Tell me, does the "Synchronize" menu (with XTNDConnect sync) appear in Outlook?

When I had Office 2000 - no pop-up question,
when installed Office XP - the pop-up keeps on popping

That's right, I remember now. I did get that message when I used office XP, but not 2000 . I'll be setting up a machine with office XP tommorow, so I will see if I can find out how to turn this "security feature" off....
