Well, I didnt buy the T68 for the "color-screen alone".
I bought it, because its got some features that I use.

I had the T-39,..and used its features a lot,..and I simply wanted a newer phone with even more features, and I liked the joystick-idea and "of course" the colorscreen is nice too.

It was exactly the same with e.g. color-tv's and pc's,..SOMEONE had to start it off.
Colorscreens will appear more and more, we saw that on Cebit as well.
It makes it easier to read content/menues and so on. So it does have a purpose, apart from making the phone attractive.

Thats just called evolution

I didnt buy the T68 because of MMS.
Gprs I used on my T-39 as well,..quite ok price here in DK.
So of course I didnt want to buy a phone, that didnt have the features the T-39 had.
So the natural choice was : T68.
All the features plus more, no antenna, bigger screen, and a beautiful design,..who could ask for more

I got the t68 because my boyf wanted it. And he asked me if I too wanted one. How can you turn a question like that down?
Besides, I love my color screen.

I saw the T68 the first time and KNEW it would be mine.... It was beautiful, I think the reason why we have colour screens is cos it looks more life-like and people like that....

with a color screen I can see the difference between red and black cards in a cardgame

and it just looks so much better, even on wap-sites that are only black and white (they're no longer black and green )...

I agree, seeing things in colour makes using a phone much better and easier IMO! But the colour-screens of today are not quite good enough when it comes to being able to view it in direct sun-light!

Otherwise, I have my pda, tv & pc with coulour-screens! So why not my phone too?
I'm just not a signature kind of guy..

because we are snobbish!!!!!!!!......

No, only kidding....I like style and design, if it was non-colour screen...well, it would look like R520 ( approx.the same size of screen..), only more elegant....

maybe coz the non color screens may be phased out someday and colored screens will be the replacement.

The reason I bought a T68 was to be unique. As a high school student in New York, my peers are still playing with their StarTacs and Nokia 3390's, so with a T68 I definitely stand out. Though Americans are light years behind the rest of the world technology-wise, I do believe that, in New York at least, most cell phone users are high school students.

Damn u people dont get that for example the nokia 7650 (which I now owe) is a mofo digital camera, with good resolution, THAT is future and why we need colour displays so we can combine different types of equipment. I wouldn´t want a camera in b&w =)

Denpa. Congratulations with the 7650 -you must be one of the first to get one. I guess it will be quite popular, even though I prefere a smaller phone myself.

When it comes to the camera, your 7650 has the exact same resolution as the Mca-20(camera for T68i) -both have max. 640x480 pixels.

I totally agree than colour screens are the future with camera-options and MMS. I will get my Mca-20 at friday.
