Turn on your phone. While in stand-by state enter this <**< and you should be able to enter unlock code.

Does somebody know at least how long is the key? 4 digits? 5 digits?

I'm gonna try all the combinations if I have to.

Thanks

I've only ever done this once and I recall it being either 8 or 10 digits (not exactly sure which)... that'll be alot of tries for you!

Choose "Network"
You will be prompted for the unlock code
Enter unlock code
You should get a "Network Unlocked" message if everything went OK.
You might have to turn the phone off, and on again to get it to accept the SIM

I have a SE T637 under Cingular with a Tmobile sim card... what is locked, the phone or the card? Do I call Cingular or Tmobile for the code?

Thank you

If your T-Mobile sim works on the Cingular phone, then the phone's unlocked. If not, then it's locked to Cingular, in which case you'll have to call Cingular and ask them for the unlocked code. I've heard Cingular's not very helpful in that department, even more so if you're no longer a customer.

I thought all European phones are sold unlocked. Since when did they start locking phones?

Sorry to revive a dead thread, but I have a T300 that hasn't been used for like 4 years, what should I say to T Mobile customer service about unlocking this phone? Do I have to pay a fee?
