The main reason for stopping with the T36m was that it did not have GPRS, and the R520m was developed at the same time and that phone did have GPRS. So E/// decided to discontinue the T36m, and make a R520m fit into the housing of a T36m......and the T39m was born. So the T39m is actually a T36m with GPRS. (Or a 520 in T36 housing)

It was a shame they stopped it but better to stop half-way than make a real big mistake. It saved Ericsson a lot of money. And E/// could not afford any more mistakes like the the T28s PA module.

If you find a T36m it will be a prototype, there are no spareparts and you can not have a SW upgrade because prototypes are not supported. But it would be nice to have a phone almost nobody has!

I do also want the T36. The yellow colour is nice and the screen seems to be very good.

The dark grey T28s (there were four colours) I had before my T68m was nice and I only had problem with it once. The funny thing is that I have to charge my T68m as often as the T28s, once a week.
