@miihki, do you use Outlook or Outlook Express? You cannot use Outlook Express with XTND Connect PC. |

Hi,
I got my T68i working with IR using the tips here in Esato. Thanks for that by the way. But I can't get Outlook to synch with the phone. The phone just shows 'Synchronizing' forever. The PC side shows a garbled message as a some sort of error message during the synch. I am a user of XP. Anyone else experienced this before? |

Did the synch process complete (not necessarilly successful) eventually? During the first synch cycle, you'll notice that "Slow sync" is in progress as indicated by a message box. Mine took around 10 minutes for the first synchronization to complete.
As for the garbled messages, were there any readable items from the window(s) that popped up? Was it a message box or a dialogue box? I had a couple of dialogue boxes during the initial synch-up but they were all about choosing what entries to keep and what can be removed (when trying to consolidate the contacts on the phone with those in Outlook). |

The message came with a triangle icon with "!" inside it and a garbled text. Once I let the "Synchronizing" push through but when I clicked OK with the error message, it got cut off. |

Interesting. Do you have the latest version of XtndConnect installed? Or are you still using the one that came in with the phone? |

I also noticed that there is a yellow box with a "T" on the Outlook icon. Then, the synch aborts with that yellow triangle with "!" on it and the string "\T" displayed.
I have uninstalled/reinstalled and I still get the same results althought eh IR is communicating with the phone.
WinXP/OfficeXP synching with T68i over IR using XTNDConnectPC V4.9.
My satisfaction would have been complete with this connection. It is so different with the plain straightforwardness of the Nokia software and IR that I setup for my wife's Nokia 6100. |

Sorry, I'm out of ideas. I was able to get my software up and running in 20 minutes when I still had my T68i. |

Try the saanlo mobile phonebook manager. It works with t610, t68i, t630 a raft of Nokia and other mobiles. Excellent value for money..
