I agree with Rashkae, this is definetely not a product recall, although it comes off like that in the interview....

And, the hissing sound isn't in every t610.....I've seen lots of ppl saying they don't hear it during conversations..

so you are saying that every T 610 has problems with the sound, thats
just a statement from thin air. four of my friends has bought a T 610 and none of them has any problems

A Norwegian site, www.itavisen.no, has quoted mobile.se several times with a \"it's not the frst time mobile.se is wrong\" comment. So their credebility is somewhat overrated in my point of view.

Yeah, I agree with Tranquil....mobil.se has a bad reputation, and should not be given too much trust...

I hope mobil.se is wrong. But hey, on the other side.. they have spoken to the guy in SE, and I trust him. I don't think Mobil.se is lying either.

Are you sure? Please tell me it's right again

Did SE say that they will give us a new one if the speaker is hissing? I hate bying a phone with a defect, and then wait for the damn store to send it back -- I hate that.

Guys, before we buy we'll just have to try the phone in the store, and try to call anyone, to be sure it does not have the defect.

Ok, so I helped my sister to buy a T610 today, and, yes, there was this hissing sound (or noise sound) in the speaker when the other person spoke.

In the headphones everything is fine.

Before we thought we should go back to the store to replace them, but now we will probably wait until we have heard more about this problem. Anyway, I guess the rest of the phones in the store will be from the same batch and thus have the same problems. No idea to switch, better to wait until this problem can be fixed.

hi jas,

I would like to buy a T610 too but I'm sad to here the sound problem... How come so many Sony Ericsson models have problem in the first batch....... Do they have any quality control before launching a phone? T610 hasn't released in Hong Kong yet but within 3 days, I prefer they delay the launch instead of selling defected phones to consumers.

By the way, can you kindly tell me where is your T610 made in? And what is the number in 7th and 8th digit in the IMEI?

Thanks a lot

Seriously!?...Does anyone use their phones to actually call people up and TALK to them? I sure don't. MMS and camera and Games is what it is for.

So stop complaining
