Personally I dont think it needs a touchscreen, when you have the keyboard.

Thats exactly why many people buy a keyboard for their pda. In many cases its easier to use than a touch-screen.

The 7650 and P-800 does have some "pda-features", but a real pda is still a different thing,..e.g. in memory-issue/cards, jackets and so on, and programs as well.

7650 and P-800 are a nice mix of it all, including a digital camera and phone-abilities.

Personally I dont care about the touch-screen, when I have a keyboard. Especially when its a phone we're talking about.

And I do believe that most people will use the P-800 with the keyboard, because most of the time, it will be used as a phone,..and the keyboard also protects the screen in some way.

You're right. This thing is that people think that touchscreen is more hightech, and is therefore better. But in many cases it isn't the best.

People can buy what they want of course. I'll buy the 7650, P800 or the 7650.

You are right if N7650 and P800 have full (mini) keyboard like Handspring Trio does but N7650 have only the phone keypad (you know the difference)...

In my openion T9 is just not enough for day-to-day PDA functionality. I'm quite sure that I can jot down the text on the touch screen at least 3 times faster than the T9 expert could.

Check this link (CeBit report part 1, from infosync):

Btw:
the 7650 has 208x176 pixels, 4096 colors.
the p800 has 208x120 pixels, 4096 colors.

P800 screen resolution is actually 208x320 (WxH) about 80% more pixel than Nokia 7650 (176x208 screen WxH)

FYI, typical Palm OS PDA has the screen resolution of (160x160)
Pocket PC (240x320)

I have to agree, it is very hard, the P800 is very good in features but you must admit is a brick maybe so is the 7650 but not as much, i like both but the 7650 is very reliable, but the features of the p800 are much better.
The looks i dunno, but i dont wanna hate the 7650, after all i am considering it to keep (its a steal on ebay!!).
