...you can't downolad it! Just go to a Ericsson Service Point and have it updated for free to R1C.

Jimak: I really didn't know! Strange thing...and I don't love it because I always forget to go back when reading a sms....

Got an answer from support about this today. They told me the R2 probably will be out in Q1. Many rumours here. Some say it's available in week 10, and other say tomorrow Jan 7!

We will have to wait and see.

I have just upgrade in Italy to R1C and no is little bit faster and better,in Ericsson Italy when you call they tell "you must upgrade you T68...so...,only that know with the Spanish language on my mobile ( I live in Spain) I have a Bug that does not let me send sms longer than 70 words something really anoying, and if you put it as "long sms option) only thing it does is to send 2 or 3 sms and you have to pay for them, instead of a 160 normal you have to send 3 of them, very bad, very bad Ericsson , does anybody knows something about this?

This is not a bug!!!!! You are using a character that's not part of the default 7-bit alphabet. You can find this default alphabet at http://www.dreamfabric.com/sms/default_alphabet.html
Please check that it's a bug before you post!!!

You mean 70 characters and not words right?
I think the SMS is limited to
160 Latin alphabets/numbers in a single message or for non-Latin alphabets (Arabic and Chinese): 70 characters.

Quand tu utilise des charactères spéciaux (é,&,ç,à, ...) qui ne font pas
parti de l'alphabet classic (chifres compris dans le classic, ASCII pour
être correct), il y a une limite de 70.

R2F004 is the latest for the Swedish market. Although this version has nothing new for Swedish users, the changes in this version is country and network specific and does not affect any of the Swedish networks.

The Ericsson helpline is terrible, don't call them!!

The bloke just told me the latest software available for the T68 is R2A 06 and that it's not possible to go to an authorised dealer so i'd have to send my phone of to ericsson and it'd take 7-10 days to get my mobile back!!!!!!!
