Ribbed frame a la PRO-I is definitely gone now. Instead there is a stone like texture on the back plate to contrast smooth matte camera housing and aluminum sides. Phone is super matte, like frost.

Well, that is a shame. I liked the ribbed texture. Hopefully, there is still some kind of texture on it for gripping.
I did not like the change in the camera module shape and placement at first, but it's growing on me the more I see it.
The red is definitely very nice.
All that's left now is to wait for the announcement late tonight. I'll need to find the stream if there is one.

Sure will have some real Info. I'm betting on gsmarena as they provided accurate Info on Xperia 1vii telephoto Lens before official live stream. |

Are you betting that we will still have optical zoom or are you thinking of a change (larger sensor, 48mpx and fixed magnification telephoto lens)?

Now next question is will spigen release proper cases and screen protectors? I loved their screen protector on my 1ii. They don't sell them in the US though.
