I don't think the bottom lens is brighter. at least it doesn't look that way to me.

"full circle" is definitely a play on words but at the moment, I can't think of what it could be referring to.

Perhaps a hint that they are returning to their roots somehow?

That's my guess - like they're reverting back in some way. What features might be reintroduced?

Active / variable shutter? Xenon? I can't imagine what else.

Perhaps it means all 3 lenses are complete. Using great sensors for all 3 (One full circle)

That would make more sense. Not long to wait now, maybe more leaks in the coming days. I'm hoping for further improvements in the audio hardware. They might use AI in the audio in some way, seeing as that's the big trend right now ( they binned the Music Pro app ).

Well there definitely is a big difference in the zoom lens, which is intentional in that promo short.

I see what you mean now. One final light sweep on that third lens at the end. So that one must have some new changes.

I think the theory by tai that all sensors will be the same may be the best one. 4 more days to go.

some full production renders should be leaked soon.

an actual price would be nice. Really hope they don't kill this product by pricing it so much more than the VII.

We shall see for more updated news. Last year gsmarena gave most accurate specs on Xperia 1VII telephoto lens before official announcement was made.

3 "lenses" (not really cause they look like just cutouts in a board)

The black rock/mineral could be a hint at color? or possibly a material used in making the lenses?

IF it were True I predict it's something to do with the display?

Official announcement this Wednesday.
When can we expect it to be available for preorder?
I'm thinking of the Japan 16/1TB edition.
Anyone know if Wonda sold the 16/512 version of the 1 VII last year, or did they only have the 12/512?

the 16/512 was exclusive to japan last year. if i recall correctly, you had to go through a particular japanese importer.

----------------------

battery saving is always appreciated, but don't see why they couldn't also increase the capacity. 2 more days to find out what's true and what's bogus.

Yes, Buyee for proxy shopping from Japanese stores. And they bought the phone from Rakuten.
The day after I got my order thru, it was sold out.

Nervous hours to be in time for preorder.

if the price increase is true, might not have to worry about it being sold out quickly haha
