Yes.
This time I will not fall for the weibo posts (she only talks about xperia and iphone) claiming there is a phone with 48MP 1" + 48MP 1/1.3" + 48MP 1/1.7" until any device is announced. Instead of not saying anything, people need to spread fake info , so not gnna create any expectation this time. Also, device would need to be super huge to have this inside. No way inside body like pro-i hey can fit this.

I am shocked gsmarena gave 4,6 ..
This is extremely high in their standards. Since they never seem to give more than 4,7 to any phone.
Sony plan is just working well. Many will be accepting to throw $600 more on 1 series because of zoom camera.
Any thoughts on upcoming 6g1 chip? I would feel satisfied if it has power of 778, but providing same endurance of 695 and too low heat.
Gsmarena on 10 iv : "For what it's worth, the Xperia's less than stellar performance output is essentially rock solid, though. 20 consecutive runs of that same Wild Life benchmark ended with virtually the same results, and in the CPU throttling test, the phone posted very good numbers, too."

6G1 is shaping up to be a stellar SoC and upcoming 10V could be something really good. Probably the first time since XA2Plus I have an interest in midgrade Xperia when it comes to 10V.
I have a notion that Mark V generation will be a major overhaul. I believe in 48mp rumors and new gen will most likely have one if not all three. Unfortunately it was unrealistic for us to expect that Xperia will debut iPhone 14 sensors instead. |

Why not? 703 came 1,5 year after 555 and 557.
Looks like Oppo and Honor are testing 989.
I do not believe the 48MP thing after the last time. Also there is not way phone with size of current xperia can fit 1" + 1/3" + 1/1.7" like the weibo post suggest someone is gonna do (she did not say it is sony). Xiaomi 12 Ultra does not have all this and bump is almost as thick as the phone itself. No way sony would sacrifice aesthetics.
Pro-i has huge price cut on sony store. So , sounds like this next device is pro-i too.

989 is nothing special, it's a marketing answer to Samsung's gazzilion pixel sensors which are also made solely for marketing purposes. Samsung is a king of marketing jibberish much like Chinese manufacturers. I remember they claimed Dual ISO on one of their GN sensors and while it's a possobility there is a dual ISO in it the real life results cannot benefit from it like they should. So it's all marketing bs. |

Well, it is largest available for phones (1.01" or 1.05"). It is kind of much larger version of 766. Anyway, if the new rumor is true (which I doubt), then using 1/1.3" for 16mm is such waste of space. |

Honestly if I was an executive I would never approve 1.3" for ultrawide cause it's unnecessary. Chinese are cramming huge sensors for UW but I have yet to see the substantial difference in image quality compared to tiny one from iPhone or Xperia or Samsung. |

Would you know if Sony is looking at a major redesign for the next year's Xperia 1 m5? the whole line-up is in dire need of a major redesign.

I think they change their design concept every 3 generations, so probably new design for V series . |

Just need to install MM, this way bezels are cut 50-60%. Increase screen to 6,6, 6,2 and 6,1. Nothing else is necessary.
I want 10 V with 6g1 and 10 V Lite with 4g1 (with LCD screen, 4/64GB).
