Would be nice to have SD778 for 10iv and make a "10 iv Lite" with D900.
One of your possibility maybe right 695 also feels odds to me |

索尼似乎将停止使用三星相机传感器。 这不仅仅是关于旗舰机型的前置摄像头,而是整个阵容。
Translate to English :
It looks like Sony will stop using Samsung camera sensors. It's not just about the front-facing cameras on the flagship models, but the entire lineup.

Are Ace 2/3 ODM or just made by Beijing team?
Looks like snapdragon samsung does not use 766, just gn5. Now I see why it looks so ugly.
According to gsmarena , 10 iii has exmor + isocell + omnivision + isocell . 😒
I miss the time when midranges had flagship camera. M5, X, XA Ultra, Xc, XA1, XA2. |

Same phones with same battery capacity and housing but Dimensity 9000 VS snapdragon 8 Gen 1. Video is in Chinese though. Conclusion is mediatek last around 40 minutes longer and more stable! Waiting for TSMC manufactured snapdragon 8 Gen 1.

Problem is .... Isnt too late, for sony to get the tsmc snapdragon?
We do not know when tsmc is gonna start making the chips.
@spek Is there something wrong with Pro-i? I thought it would be first to earn android 12. Firmware is out for 1iii, 5iii, 1ii, 5ii and Pro. Now 10iii and 10ii are next.

There's no information about front camera in the link.

Obviously fake.
888+: never use overclocked version
6,7" : phone would be 17cm or bit more.
12MP : smallest is 1/3.4", I doubt it can fit inside current bezel. |

One thing I can tell is the next ones are using Qualcomm "Waipio" |

Internal name of 8g1.
Almost april already. I bet it is impossible to have tsmc sanpdragon any soon. 😰 |

"Taro" is the current 8 Gen 1 while "Waipio" is something else maybe sm8450p aka 8 Gen 1+ using Samsung 4nm 4LPE instead of 4LPX of first gen 8 Gen 1

As far as I could understand, samsung would be in charge of 8g1 and tsmc of 8g1+.
Then qualcomm got mad because samsung has low % of usable chips and has decided to move production of 8g1 to tsmc.
Looks like there are 8470 and 8475 or 8475 and 8478. I do not remember. |

Please... (Pray hard) Sony please get from TSMC manufactured ones instead of Samsung manufactured version.... |

Curiosity : Xperia is 18,84% of Sony Electonics and 3,98% of Sony Group.
Samsung removed jack and charger from A series. Also no 8MP 3x on A73.
Making 10iv better is chance to steal costumers from Samsung.
A53 is €450.
🙏🏻, put at least a 12MP 1/3.4" behind 60mm f2.2 on 10iv !!
i bet sony is already eyeing on this : https://asiatimes.com/2022/03[....]ing-beyond-5g-to-take-6g-lead/

I think one of the best things they did was keep the 3.5mm jack.
