Strangely enough it seems like 695 is not a succesor to 690. It doesn't support 4K video recording. Very weird situation.

Well, 680 is worse than 665/670/675. 😵‍💫

Now sony needs to use 7xx. Just changing cameras is not update. If they are different.

From Google translate
Sony recently pushed Android 12 to the Xperia 1 II and 5 II of the Snapdragon 865 platform. Some people reported on Kuan that the bottom layer of this Android 12 is still 11.
I asked the professionals here, and the answer was that Qualcomm may not have released the 12 bottom layer for the 865 platform, so it is no problem for Sony to use the 11 bottom layer to upgrade the 12. The relevant manufacturers are all doing this upgrade, and the bottom layer can be separated from Android 8.
There will also be a certain amount of heat and lag after a major version of any device is upgraded, so there is no need to bring a rhythm.

What I can deduce is
A person looked into the log / codec language and found it to be android 11, so Zackbuks yen. To ask some of the android experts and the reply was
sort of there's yet to have a base layer / basic foundation (or "template") of android 12 for snapdragon 865, but since beginning of android 8 , android version can be easily upgraded from the base layer.

Heres another leak from Zackbuks regarding the recently leaked xperia 1IV pictures :

几点勘误:
1、这个渲染图虽然来自知名爆料者,但依旧是民间渲染图,非官方 KV 图;
2、真机细节肯定是比这个图更丰富的;
3、上半年可能不会发售。

1. Likely not the final design
2. The final design picture will have more details and features
3. Likely not selling for first half of this year.

Thank you for explanation but is it something normal?
So how about the past devices? For example, When Xperia 1 was updated from Android 10 to Android 11, did it still keep the base layer of Android 10?

Would be nice to have SD778 for 10iv and make a "10 iv Lite" with D900.

One site reported Snapdragon 888.
Would be very nice of you if you insert SD662 and imx412 inside this phone.

Does 10iv uses 690 again? Because 695 that everyone believed to be successor weirdly lacks 4K video.

I would not say Ace3 is outdated for 2022. Surely Motorola, Samsung and Vivo are going to make similar phones (with few cuts )and sell millions of them.

So cute it has RGBC-IR that the $3500 A7r4 does not have. 😍

Helio P65 maybe? Just a random guess

I hate the ACE II and the next ACE design, still love that original ACE one. This one feels too Chinese (ofc it is with Chinese involvements)
