Note 20ultra use 108mp crop for 3x zoom. 3x digital zoom on my Pixel 4a looks not good.

Photo is obviously just illustrative.

1/6400s would leave photo too dark, even with Iso800.

" Eye-controlled focus + subject AF lock (upgrade point), even in a cluttered background environment, you can get accurate focus and a clear subject ".

Sony Xperia weibo account has more than 4,5 mi followers.

If 10% of them got new phone per year, would be great already.

"AI Super Resolution Zoom"

I hope this is not a marketing gimmick. Sounds great.

Maybe zackbuks mean this feature for 1III

I'm not that good in cameras but the way I see it is
The new 1iii will have up to 3x/4x variable optical zoom, with the tradeoff being far less than the competition (up to 10x on competitors).

Also, what's with the additional 0.2mp on each cameras

They indeed did flip ultrawide and main. I had my suspicions about it since case leaks showed asymmetrical space between the top and middle and middle and tof. I thought about the top being the main one but then again ultrawide being anywhere but on top causes issues. I was kind of rooting for variable "periscope" main sensor on the bottom that goes from 24 to 70 and telephoto that hits 100 or more but I'm just glad they are doing the variable at least on telephoto. I'm also glad they are not doing that stupid superzoom 10x 100x 1000x that's absolutely useless. This might also reveal that telephoto sensor is indeed Exmor this time around. Would they be this naïve to use the variable fl on Isocell sensor? I doubt it.

When someone advertise 12MP, it is the effective pixel resolution.

These sensors are actually 12.2 or 12.3MP.

The pixels on the corners, outside image circle.

I've been reading it will have a lower aperture, so it will capture better lowlight photos. 8mp but not the same.
