Am I a bad person for ditching my Xperia 1 II for Galaxy Note 20 Ultra?

Depend on your own choice. Update us your experience ya ~

BTW is your Samsung using snapdragon or Exynos processor? That will greatly affect your experience.

So it is still that bad between Snapdragon and Exynos?
I live in Europe so I guess the worse version.

Give a watch and read. Take note on battery consumption too ~

(Sony xperia 1ii did this test with 1 minute 26.9 sec with the snapdragon 865 for the same test )

OnePlus 8T, Nokia 3.4, Sony Xperia 5 II, plus more join ARCore support list. I find it a bit strange that the Xperia 1ii, with its iToF sensor, isn't included.

I have Google Play Services for AR (or ARCore) installed by default on my Xperia 1ii.

Some people said wireless charging is slow but I found the wireless charging in Xperia 1ii is not slow. Maybe it's little slower than the wired charging. Personally, the wireless charging is good.

Do you mean battery care? yes, battery care still works with wireless charging.

You should get it. Another interesting point is the phone doesn't have to be precisely aligned to the charger. Some brands I heard need to be properly placed on the charging pad or you need to buy dual coil charging pad. I just bought single coil and it works all the time.

Hi all,

Just a quick note to let some know that the Android 11 update has hit my UK unlocked variant last night. To be honest so far I really haven't noticed or seen any differences.

All I can say is that from new I have really enjoyed the whole user experience with this phone especially as it has so little customisation over vanilla Android so it just works and does all that I need without any fuss or bother. I have been using a new pair of Shure SE215 Special Edition Wireless headphones with Bluetooth 5.0 and the sound for both Music and Films/Videos is nothing short of outstanding from this set up. Although I am no great photographer even with my limited photo taking skill set I have found using the Camera Pro app easy to use and has produced for me great results. I'm just really glad that I went with this device and grabbed a deal from Carphone Warehouse just as they were ending their deals with EE as I really felt I got an amazing deal and can see this device lasting me a good few years.

So at this time of year I would like to wish all a happy and healthy holiday and and the same for the coming year to all and your families.

Marc

Anyone manage to enable aptx hd on Xperia 1 II ?

My Xperia 1 II and ATH-DSR9BT stuck with aptx which is weird as both support aptx hd. It's greyed out in developer mode too.

No problem with LDAC connection between 1 II and WH-1000XM4 though.
