The height and width are same of 1.
So screen and bezels are same.
Just thicker.
Maybe 9,2mm counts the cam bulge.
One rumor from weeks ago was about 12MP wide, 20MP uwa and 8MP zoom.
8MP would be at least 3x , because module gets thicks for longer FL.
That rumors about the flex xperia from Max J also says 10x zoom.
ð°ð°ð° .. If the flagship brings exclusive 12MP 1/1.7", there is no way midranges bring 686.
I think it is single sim/dual sim both 5G , not 4G and 5G.

You have to consider Sony doesn't have curved sides. Flat screen s10e even with hole punch, is about 83%. If it is indeed 6.65" in the same X1 body I expect it to look like Xperia 10+ but with smaller top bezel.
BTW Sony mobile blog announced android 10. No surprises, Xz2 3 and 10s will get it. |

It is impossible to increse screen with same width.
Not even with design of C5.
Frames are thin already.

X1 has 3.5 mm bezels on each side. If 6.65" was real it'd be 2.8. Not impossible if you ask me. Also we already saw a super small chin on the galaxy note 10.
That screenshot has the error, it says QHD 550ppi. It's not reliable anyway, I'm just speculating what could be if 550ppi was real.
I don't expect 686 on midrange either, that's why I said 1/2". I also don't think we'll see 4g and 5g versions of the same model. Either all 5g or all 4g. Might even see another top model that's the only 5g model. |

I agree that the flat screen makes all the difference and I prefer flat screens but most customers (if even) will see that other phone has 90% and sony "only" 86%. But I agree, increasing the screen size while maintaining the dimensions would be impressive IF this is true and the battery is indeed 4120 mah - that would be more than 23% increase in battery capacity. |

Imagine the haters if this phone has 4120 and scores 100h on gsma test with 4K screen.
See the difference of weight between this one and xz2p?
Curved glass is larger and much heavier.
If it has ToF, I hope they put above cam with Flash and RGBC-IR |

So far I was able to get Eye AF, white and blue glass flagship.
Trying to get big battery, fix for EIS, headphone jack, pencil and monochrome camera.
I also asked to stop locking screens to 60Hz.
They have a pen already. That e-ink screen tablet you can use as notebook.
I remember I wanted one of it.

Just to satisfy my curiousity.  even the 6.65" one's chin doesn't look much smaller than what Note 10 already has. I aligned the new screens leaving the top bezel as it is. 6.6" is totally doable, with imx666 it'd make one hell of a device.  |

I want 666 to, but no surprise if they stick with 12.
Hard to think hardware would be able to keep 10fps AF/AE + 30fps calculations at 48MP.
This is probably the reason they dropped 19.
Frame cant be too thin because of the fingerprint scanner.

FPS needs to move to the back of the device of be a button, the Xperia 5 FPS is terrible. |

Just change the button and use same of z5.
This one is kinda deep into the frame.
Rear FPS is ugly.
Camera in the center looks nicer.
X1 looks better than X5.
Android 10
1 and 5 = december
Xz2, xz3, 10/10+ = early 2020

I think 5 looks better, also there are other options for the sensor placement. I left top bezel unchanged, I think they can fit a face recognition system there.
You shouldn't register the same finger multiple times. You can train the sensor after you added your fingerprint. It adds the missing parts after partial matches. Saw a post about this on Reddit. There's a Pixel video showing this. |

I would trade UWA and zoom for a huge 1/1.15" with 50MP.
