I think it is high security.
People liked the render, having jack back and maybe more than 4000mAh.
Problem with samsung is the black rectangle. That makes phone ugly.
The square of Mate 20 is much better. Then put ToF and Flash above it.
S20 does not have ToF, it could have been like note10.
But since Ultra has that ugliness, they putmon it too to be uniform across all devices.
On S20, half of the rectangle has only the flash.
Screen hole is ridiculous. Samsung could easily do like Meizu 16 if they wanted.
It is just to say screen % got higher value.

Gsmarena posted a news about an alleged Xperia 9...there is a very thick top bezel.. It doesn't look good IMO.. Might turn out to be fake. |

I was really hoping Sony would integrate more tech through their collaboration with light.

Well I’m so excited for S20 Ultra, enough so to make me pre order the cosmic grey one. The first non-sony primary phone for me, I hope it’ll be good. the internet seems overly excited about s20 ultra that they ignore the fact that the optical zoom is only at 4x, while the 10x zoom is lossless. They should be educated about that thing. I really love S20 Ultra, I don’t have any choice but to buy that damn thing. I can’t take my xz2’s lagginess and sluggishness anymore (and I’ve always changed my phones for about 2 to 4 years before, but I really can’t with this one, too much problems hardware and software wise).
I don’t want to broke my promise, he’s my friend after all. All I can say is that, please just wait, it’s about 13.5 days now, shouldn’t be too long, I promise. I just don’t want to ruin the surprise and make the day when they’re announcing the phone to have a lot of excitement, instead of pure boredom in last year’s show.
We’ll know the specs and press shots approx. 2 days before the event. That’s soon enough, I promise. I also promise that if the leaks have been shared by someone and there are something missing about them, I’ll just share those missing parts here about one day before the event. That’s all.
There are something that samsung is much stronger at, but there are also something that sony is stronger at. Last year, Xperia 1 was being f***ed very hard by Galaxy S10 and other competitors, but this year I think the gap is a little smaller, thanks to those things sony is stronger at. Everything sony does will always have no impact on their sales, I think we can count the days before there are totally no one who buys their phones. I hope I’m never going to see that day coming, but let’s see.

Thanks Alvin. Guess we'll just wait and see. Based on what you know you're unable to wait for the Xperia 1 successor cause of your xz2 problems or do you prefer the ultra over the Xperia 1 successor based on what you know? Just curious. I don't think I'd ever get a Samsung phone. It's nothing against Samsung. I just really enjoy the Sony experience.. when it works as designed. Surely, we've all had bad Sony phones.. my worst experience was probably the x10.. the lag on that phone with timescale was horrific

The image is obviously fake.
It says "entry level".
There is no way L4 comes with SD665 and curved screen.
Also, cant put side FPS this way.
Flash below camera is exactly like L3.
Even HMD is dropping Light .
I dont think any other will ever use it.
Imagine how phone would look if they even add uwa and "zoom" .

I hope Sony get serious about 120Hz display.
Sharp and JDI LCD panels are already capable of 120hz, but Sony didn't implemented it.
120hz display on Galaxy S20 is really amazing, and everyone can recognize the difference in second |

90 hz is enough, 120hz is pointless, s20 series donwagrade resolution to fhd+ for 120hz, how many apps and games support 120 hz?

pointless? no need to direct to direct comparison, anybody can understand how 120hz is smooth and great. it's just about rendering at graphic stack, no need to think about whether app is support or don't support it.
and sony stick fhd for long time and as i remember, in here, only few people care about qhd resolution. |
