It is weird the fact you do t read about Sony putting more money on JDi.
With Apple as client, not sure they can supply enough for other too.
Then why Sony Mobile would be other suppliers?
I am glad they still choose LG over Samsung.
LG oled is not reddish nor saturated. |

i don't think sdi's oled is reddish or saturated. it just how manufacturer tuned/calibrated oled display. |

I watched a video today and many phones were used to compare batteery endurance.
The iphone xs max amd op7 pro had a strong red/pink hue when white as displayed.
None of the other phones had.
Even Samsung called the tech as red oled.
Same way LG oled can be recognized as blueish hue.

Pixelshift is nice feature but needs tripod (i dont remember how many time it takes) and cant be used for moving things.
Of course sensor needs space to move inside
We need:
1) video eye AF
2) 61MP
3) real time tracking AF
I'll be asking them for this soon. ðŸ¤.
Can anyone tell me the price of a Motion Eye sensor?

Gsmarena also put an article about this 5k device. Tony said 5k was possible this year. But I don't think it's the 6" one. 900ppi? No way! This one would at least be 7" imo. That makes up about 745ppi.
Even at 640 screen got dim, I wonder how this would affect brightness. But also Tony was talking about a new (newer) technology.
With x20 and this Sony is finally stepping up in every segment |

what do you think about new rumors with 108 mp camera and 10 x optical zoom
is it sony's or samsung sensor maybe two sensors to achieve such a high resolution.
sony's rollable phone supposed to be have 10x zoom.
there will be really tough competition next year (six cameras,100mp resolution,10x zoom,8k video too) |

It will be shitty quality, no matter brand.
Those that use 3x (78 or 81mm ) already have to use 1/4" sensors to keep module small.
Let's suppose it is 260mm eqv.
Lots of things to care about : size of module, distance of lens elements, diameter of aperture to deal with difraction etc..
Unless this is about using 100MP and crop the center. But it would be like using digital zoom.
