Sony had begun working on a lithium sulphur battery before it sold its battery business to murata |

I dunno. Acoustic surface on a phone sounds like it'd be pretty shit.
If you have chubby hands and you grip the phone too tight you'll dampen the sound.
If you drop the phone and the screen cracks, the actuator that vibrates the screen will only serve to make the cracks deeper/worse and cause further damage (if there is any) to the display substrate.
I mean, it'd look super nice and clean, but imo, not practical. |

That'll scratch. The actual surface of the phone will still need to be glass. |

Curiosity ...
How can Sony achieve such high sRGB % using LCD?
XZ Premium has 138%.
S8 with oled has 142%.
I bet XZ2 has even more than 138%.
I doubt V30, Mate 10, U11, Z2 Force etc can go that far ... |

Plastic OLED, Isn't it LG's marketing term that try to differentiate OLED product from Samsung?
And whatever glass / plastic materials is in use, it is just substrate which beneath the actual glass surface/cover.
Anyway, LG has use Plastic OLED as marketing term since G Flex was introduced in something like Snapdragon 800.

I think samsung also uses plastic oled
Lg uses the term plastic oled as samsung has patented the amoled name
The oled in lg is also technically amoled right? |

Actually, XZ2 has 153% sRGB coverage. Since 2015, Sony have nailed its mobile display, especially since XZ Premium.

Thanks @Alvin ...
Where did you find this info? I was looking for it since the MWC.
That's true , the mobile is taking huge advantage of Bravia tech.
I have a Bravia klv-46w410a ( from 2008 or 2009 IDK) and screen of my phone is much better.
Cellphones are better than TVs from few years ago.

^ Yeah, I saw it on a news article/review a few days ago but I forgot where it came from. Yup, you can't go wrong with any phone displays these days.
