The one showed at MWC 2018 only an prototype, not a real "Premium". And that prototype didnt have 4K HDR feature.
The small old one isnt XZ1 series, because no Slowmo feature.
Yeah.. I thought that too.. They won't show a real device if they are not announcing it, right?
And spektykles, do you have new info? Like release date?
Only some info to confirm existing one...
H81xx is new "Premium". Codename PF12.
H44xx is the new midrange. Codename SM42. Both showed on UAProf just as I speak about this... |

Wish list for xperia H44××
1)SD660/670
2) same design like XZ2(5.5" or more)
3)same cameras minus 4k HDR video recording/slow motion
4)64/4 gb of ram..(6 gb for selected market)
Price around €500😊 |

I said that because both phones compared had the virtual buttons of android 8.
960fps icon is not there, maybe they were set another resolution like regular 1080p or 4K, then button would not show up.
Smaller phone shows icons of tripod and candle ( low light) , the Flagship does not but there is something above screen shutter that I cant recognize.
I have a doubt... FCC ID docs have size of screen and body.
But none has found this info about third phone.

I wouldn't mind some release date.
My z5 premium is freezing /locking up and restarting.
So itd be nice to know if June July or September so I can get a temporary phone (xiaomi or something cheap around $200au) or not.
XZ2 P will be released at the end of May or fist week of June. |

Maybe h44 and h81
I am starting to believe no xperia will have jack next year.
If one of them is midrange.
I hope I am wrong.

This bullshit with the headphone jack is incredibly aggravating. They have no business getting rid of it, and getting rid of it now is just following a trend that isn't even good. |
