Hi @XJ
Is LG G3 a good example to compare with when we think of how flagship may look?

From what I know the overall design won't be like LG G3. Just some design elements like bezel size and positioning of cameras and fps are kinda like G3. The device should still look like a Sony Xperia. |

So u are suggesting sony is ditching the side mounted fps.
I prefer either side mounted or front mounted fps.
Currently i use a phone with fps on the back and its not at all comfortable. And to be relevant in the bezelless race it should have around 78-80% stb.
Rear camera on the centre... I hope they dont do it |

I haven't seen the device. Neither do I have personal contact with an insider. But from the info I collected from international forums (I speak 4 languages) and knowing which source has credibility I can say that it looks like Sony is going with rear mounted fps. At least there will be one device with that positioning. And design wise kinda all people who have seen the device say it still looks and feels like a Sony Xperia. |

I think the side mounted FPS needs to stay even if it means you have some side bezels, its by far the most comfortable and practical position for it and compromises should be made so side bezels and even the phone thickness. I would be very disappointed if they lost such a great feature. I don't care too much for bezel size but trimming the top and bottom is way more effective visually than trimming side bezels. It makes me sad if certain features or design elements are lost forever, I really liked the various sliding lens covers for the Cybershot and also the transparent bar on my Xperia P. LG G3 is ugly and not comfortable, comfort and function above all then pretty design is the old Sony way. |

Guys, in july/2015 Apple started the papers to register power as fps.
I dont know if z5 was certified already.
And last year before IFA, they got the rights.
Rear FPS is the only way now Sony can sell it enabled in USA.
We all know USA is a important market.
Also it can give flagships an edge to edge design like XA.

I agree with badassman
Visually trimming the top and bottom bezels is way more effective to an average user.
People still make comments about xa2 that it has huge bezels even though it and a8 has similar stb |

So, we all know how S9 may look like.
How Huawei P11( or P20) may be.
How Moto E5, G6, X5 and Z3 may be.
U12 too.
Even iphone 8s/9
But Sony flagships are hidden behind 1000 doors..
🤔

That is fake. That news has been leaked all over the Internet since new year.
But Nodar, how can you say that when you posted those informations in your website? Don't even try to make excuses because I have a proof.

Yeah... so long...
I always see the flagship leak around 1 - 2 week before the announcement.
