You should be happy, last year Samsung Sensor was the better sensor of the 2.

Thanks man!

Once the new Galaxy S have been released and made available to the consumer, numerous communication channels have spared no praise to describe the Galaxy S8 and S8 Plus, so much so I do not deny it so I bought it. However, it is not only the technical specifications that define whether a smartphone is really good or not, which will confirm this in fact is the use of the device in your day to day and this is what I will do now, in 1 week I go back Here and I tell my experience, for now I'm posting in the photo session some images captured with the camera.

For now nothing to complain about, the S8 Plus has the best camera integrated with a Samsung mobile... I'll test more this week!

Yikes, along with super laggy software , we have new problems with S8 models.

S8 units reportedly freezing and rebooting. I wonder if this is a new feature like the red amoled panel.
Really hopes Samsung clarify the issues at hand here.

geez give it a rest Granede..

every new phone is going to have some wrinkles to iron out. it's just par for the course. there has probably never been a flagship device that's been released and was completely perfect out of the box where nobody reported any issue whatsoever. it just happens. especially software bugs.

Yeah, I know that but samsung sometimes tried to make the issue a feature just like the red tint on the s8 screen

Before I forgot there was also the issues with -

#biometric authentication feature not working
#the phone becoming sporadically unresponsive or overheating for no apparent reason.

Hopefully samsung will respond to this issues and cleaify whether these things are features or bugs.

Please don't bother trying to have a rational discussion with Granede, the only reason one is on this forum is to spew his hate for Samsung and ruin Samsung threads for Samsung followers

As you said other phones too (including Sony phones ) have problems when released and are generally ironed out through software updates

Finally got to play with the Plus today, and I like it's size a lot, I wasn't sure if it was the plus at 1st as it didn't look that large but the Display size as I got closer made it very clear it's no normal S8.

I hope the Note 8 is a mashup of the Note 7s more straight and rectangular design with S8+ screen and size.

When you say follow Note 7 you mean the screen or the phone in general ? Because for example the screen I think it is more similar to Note 7 than s7 edge by not being so rounded (seems like th edges are flatter )

had my S8 plus for nearly 3 weeks now.got to say its a great device, very fast and fluid.the iris scanner is fast and accurate, finger print readers placement is not the best but you do get used to it.battery life is immense,as good as the note 7 s i had.
Tsepz_GP-have you seen these alleged note 8 schematics and specs-if true would be a very beautiful phone.

Yep I mean the phone in general. I love the more "square" or "blocky" look the Notes have had since the Note 3, and the Note7 had the most stunning Design, IMO, of any Samsung, I hope the Note 8 is similar but with an Infinity Display of course

@Daviep

I haven't really paid them much attention, I don't like looking at concepts of anything to be quite honest, I find that they make me set high expectations and which lead to disappointment when the real thing pops up.

Samsung's Current design language is probably the best of any phone maker right now, but the concepts tend to take it all way too far.
