What happened to "Play sound when battery is full"?
In my XZ the option is in Settings -> Accessibility > Voice feedback.

Gotcha. I'll have to give it a try later with some large files and see what happens.
I tried the Bluetooth streaming and the track information sent to my stereo with no problems whatsoever. It updated accurately when it started the next track on its own and also when I skipped through the tracks manually. I'll record a video and post the link in a bit.
and heres the link: https://youtu.be/F6_tSHgPG1I
just additional info.. i was streaming through spotify. not sure if it would be different if i were to play music stored on the SD card with the music app.

Hmmm that's weird. I will go and try with spotify but that shouldn't be an issue. What is your FW build number? Mine is 45.0.A.1.229 |

Admad - I have the same build number. I'll try with different music playing methods next time.
Maratonmannen - nice bike! I don't see that setting either but if it existed if use it! Seems like Sony took a lot away for the release firmware. Let's hope the next update will add more back.
so i just noticed something and it's really irritating for me. i'm on a call but using a headset. i hit the power button to turn off the screen. But any motion over the proximity sensor turns the screen back on. it's really irritating. i think i even have the power button set to manually lock my device but it still happens. really annoying cause i've accidentally hit a button with my finger a few times not realizing the screen had turned on.

Anybody else noticed that changing the screen display settings to either Super Vivid, Standard or Professional mode now changes the colours in the entire UI rather than in just the photo gallery like previous models.

I've tried with Spotify, same result. Probably my bluetooth radio uses some old standard that is not working in new bluetooth or Android version. That's really bad, not knowing what music station is being played was really irritating me this weekend...
I've checked your issue and can confirm it, what's funny it's happening only when the headset is connected. In normal mode it's working fine.
@XperiaJunkie Yup, it's nice. Personally I'm using super vivid. The display is just beautiful. |

admad - yea, maybe it's your stereo's bluetooth version? perhaps there's a way you can update it. and yes, the proximity sensor thing is very irritating. sigh. hope it gets fixed in the next update.
XJ - i use super vivid .. it's beautiful.
I was inspecting my roxfit case today and noticed on all 4 corners, there was material of the case being scraped away by the phone and in some instances there were some hairline spider fractures that were noticeable. I'm extremely disappointed. I have not been rough with my phone at all. In fact, I have been very gentle with it and have not dropped it a single time. I expected more from something that was "designed for Xperia" and all the rave reviews from everyone. I must have received a defective unit! Speaking of which, I contacted roxfit early last week about returning my screen protector and possibly exchanging my case, but have not heard from them. Sad their customer service is not responsive. Turns me off from ordering from them ever again.

picture from s8 has more detail especially when zoomed in, other than that XZP seem better.

So I've signed up to Amazon Video for some 4K action and I've also done a little test between my old XZ and the XZ Premium. I was watching The Grand Tour on both at the same time one in 4K and the other in 1080p and yes you can tell the difference it's actually by a fairly wide margin too and as I've said before the sense of depth that the 4K panel in the Premium is the best I've ever seen. Sound through the front facing speakers is also better with the Premium too, not only are they louder but there's more definition and better clarity to the sound as well.
This phone just keeps wowing me and it's fast becoming my favourite phone of all time which is still currently the Sony Ericsson K800i.
