Sony's next flagship model, Xperia XZ 1 and Xperia XZ 1 Compact.
On the official website it already exists as G8341 / G8342 and G8441, and it is almost certain that it will be announced on August 31, 2017, the eve of the first day of iFA.
And this time new leak information about this Xperia XZ1 and Xperia XZ1 Compact has come up.
Some update and correction (in good way) about Xperia XZ1 and XZ1C.
I previously mentioned XZ 1 screen size will be larger, around 5.4 inch.

In my opinion, Sony should skip XZ1 Premium. Maybe a XZ1s in february and keep Premium for IFA 2018.
Oled screen and " imx500". Then call it XZ2 Premium.
Premium cycle would be 18 months....

I can't see the bezels being that thin and them having dual front facing speakers and all. The larger screen is welcome though, although any larger and it might affect the one handed convenience that the Compact gives us.

Yep, it's difficult to implement large front camera module, stereo speaker on the front with that thin bezel.
We shall see the real product within next week. Right ?

If they trim 3mm from each, would be good enough.
5.5" would be 15cm, same of S7 Edge. |

I am disappointed about 4.8" screen on the Compact. If the bezels are thinner, then keep the same screen size and make the phone itself smaller.
The whole point of the Compact is the small screen size.

X Compact did not bring the 13MP selfie.
Also phone would be even thicker to keep same battery.
Rumors say XZ1c has 2800mAh. More than X Performance.
More than X Compact.
Compact are usually thicky already..
Just hope Sony can fit in the 13MP on front. |

Sony never go for a higher than 5mp front facing camera before for their compact models so I doubt they will put a 13mp selfie camera
