I'm getting the same error. I tried Internet Explorer (sorry!) and Edge in Windows 10 on my laptop and Chrome and Opera on my Xperia P. The photo I'm trying to upload is almost 5MB.

I have now change settings so that you now should be able to upload 20Mb photos.

As some of you might now already. During a planned update of the system something went terrible wrong. The Linux boot partition was trashed. I tried for a long time to fix the boot partition, but without luck. Had to re-install the OS and all applications needed to serve content from Esato.com. During this process, I went from PHP 5.6 to PHP7 and I ditched the previously used memcache PHP extgension in favour for the newer memcached. We have also change the database server from MySQL to MariaDB. I took some time to get this up and running without problem. Finally, all content from www.esato.com is now served using HTTPS and also HTTP/2 protocol for modern browsers.

Please let me know if you have addition problems during image upload.

That sounds like a horror story. But the good thing is that we are up again.

Regarding the photos uploaded to the gallery, I could upload this one taken with my K790:

Original

But I could not upload a photo with my Nexus 4. The last photo I could upload was this:
Original

Don't know what can be wrong here.

I am still also having problems uploading images. It looks like it works. It shows the image with the message 'Image sucessfully uploaded' above.

But under the image, this is also shown: 'Error during image upload. Please try again later.'

And checking the Photos gallery, the image is not there.

But copying and pasting the link to the image shown when the upload completes shows that the upload is indeed successful. There seems to be a problem with the code that makes the image available in the gallery.

For example this: https://www.esato.com/phoneph[....]lt22i/201512310412dAadwE_n.jpg
And the link to the full size image: https://www.esato.com/phoneph[....]y/lt22i/201512310412dAadwE.jpg

@abu. @laffen. I've had that after the transition. Your photo is uploaded but the system failed to link recognise the phone. (something like that).

@hihihans: I thought it was a recent one

Also, when you try to rotate a photo, you get redirected to the main page of the gallery and in the address bar you see a "https://www.esato.com/phonephotos/?error=idim"
