Since there are no leaks, I guess there are no phones this time. I support the decision but an Ultra variant would be cool and they could have tested the new SoC in a larger device (always favorable).

As for the leaks, well as I said apparently they will be announcing some new bluetooth headset, but I was rather hoping for information on the Z6 as evleaks said he had info on it.
I own the Xperia Z3 Tablet compact, have no desire to replace it but it would be cool to see if Sony update it.
But I want the Xperia Z? compact phone, I'd be happy with the current Z5 with a Snap Dragon 820, 3GB ram and a 1080P screen possibly.

Good thing is that problem was solved by Samsung and Apple with their flagship smartphones.
Seriously though, it's only fair people want better speakers and cameras from Sony because they've seen what Sony can do with the aforementioned products. Not only that, people have also seen better speakers on a smartphone from a different brand (e.g. HTC, Apple) and better cameras on a smartphone too (e.g. Samsung, Apple) than the ones found in Xperia phones. For speakers, it's not just about the loudness but the sound quality. For cameras, it's not just about the megapixels but the actual picture quality (dynamic range, colour balance, sharpness, etc). |

I'm not impressed by Samsung and Apple's speaker nor their cameras. I'm sorry but I do am fed with Sony's stubborness but Apple and Samsung's offering are not groundbreaking for me to change ship, just not yet.
My 2 year old z2 easily beats S6 and 6s. |

Z2 beats them in what exactly? ip rating that is far from being a key feature for many people? Can't think of one thing it does better in. Z2 was a competitive device for early 2014. We're in 2016 now. I urge you to wake up and look around.

Nobody expects a high quality dslr but the best camera quality a mobile device can produce.

@Amirprog, I meant at low-light. My friends are shocked whenever they see my low-light shots compared to them. Somehow, the high iso sensitivity of xperias are not gimmick at all. |

Z6 already outdated because nothing but the screen comes close to these Note 6 specs;

These are rumours.. until both Z6 and N6 spec. are finalized and confirmed.. nothing is outdated and every judge is just wrong

Let's say these rumored specs for N6 are true. Why would it be wrong to compare Z6 & N6?
It would be safe to presume that Z6 in its Premium variant is very much like N6 (just like Z5 Premium is to Note 5) in terms of flagship status, dimensions and price range.
Why would it be wrong to compare them if I would be considering both of them for my next phone?

We don't even know Z6 or Note 6 specs. Moreover they are different phones. You should compare it to the upcoming s7. Anyways, back to sony rumors if any exist. |

Noise party due to high iso, no thanks. I'd rather have a little darker scene with low noise rather then brighter scene with noise party. This is another example to show that big numbers alone won't make something better. Needless to say, Note 5 and v10 overall low light shots with lower iso but much better image processing and ois are superior. Super high iso won't cover the lousy image processing and lack of ois for sonymobile. They better treat the problem rather then the symptom. It is too bad that they can't backup their tendency for big numbers in the end result: 23mp vs 16mp, "4k" vs QHD always on, super high iso vs lower iso, etc. With that said, if you are happy with what you got then i'm happy for you. |

There is a S6 EDGE Plus in my family now and Im impressed with it. SAMSUNG has improved the build quality..SONY needs to step up, I can see the casual crowd easily be impressed by the S6 than the Z5.

The Z6 will release at IFA 2016. It will have a major re-design, compared to the design language that the Z series has always had. It will be metallic and its specs are set to beat the iPhone 7
