I couldn't find the Tap to Wake options that I've seen in some reviews of the Xperia X.

Go to settings/display and at the bottom is Tap to wake up. It's always been there.

I just bought a white Z5!

Magnetic charger on my Z3 is loose and I can't wait for the XP so got me a Z5. Xperia X was never an option...

Yeah, that probably means it's no longer waterproof too?

Enjoy your Z5 matey.

Thnx! Ya I'm afraid it's not, and that's why I didn't go for the X either.

One thing I noticed, the screen is a lot darker than the Z3's @ same settings. I don't know why and it kinda bugs me to be honest. Z3's brightness and whites just pops while the Z5's screen is like a cloudy sky...

s4k1s - try changing the white balance and make sure auto brightness isn't on (you probably already checked this but just in case)

Guys I have an annoying problem with some latest Facebook updates.
My Facebook is set to open links OUTSIDE.
So when I want to open the Vimeo link (I have no Vimeo app) I immediately get an Error
saying "Android has been stopped".
If I want to open a YouTube link, I get an Error saying "The YouTube app has been closed"

WTF?! The browser links are easily opened by Chrome.

I'm running the customised UK nougat .376 and it sucks. Had many issues until I did a factory reset so its better but I'm still having problems. Dialer is lagging, there is no theme being applied to certain apps like contacts which is annoying. Getting random lagging throughout. So until I did the factory reset I couldn't open videos, photos were not being saved to SD card, dodgy audio playback, YouTube and Google Maps app fails if anyone is having similar issues.

In terms of UI changes, its a nice update with notifications giving more info than ever. I don't like the white cards considering the status bar is dark so it looks odd. We really need KitKat level of themes because you could change nearly everything. Disappointed that I don't have the latest XZ lockscreen but at least I still have the Xperia keyboard.

My camera has become unusable now. It doesn't save to SD card, only internal memory. It produces incredibly pixelated images so I just can't use it now. Video is fine but I do take loads of photos. Will try the Nordic .378 and if that fails then back to MM. I'm really struggling with the phone now.

Hearing the news that Galaxy S6, a half a year older phone than the Z5 is getting the Oreo update and Sony just said f.uck it, not supporting the Z5 family after 7.1.1 is such a c.untish move by Sony that i just made my mind that the XZ Premium that i own now will be my last Sony phone, which is just a shame cause i supported and been a fan of Sony/SE phones since the early 2000...
