Quit playing stupid, Apple themselves admitted the issues in iOS8.0.1 when they took it down from the server, that's the same reason why you are not seeing it.

You have reached a new level of blind fanboy, trying to deny the issues Apple THEMSELVES have confirmed.

If plankgatan is still using an iPhone 5s he probably hasn't experienced these issues in iOS 8.0.1as they seem to affect only iPhone 6 and 6 plus users as far as I have read. Certainly my 5s has no connectivity or touch id issues on iOS 8.0.1

Again, quit playing stupid, I am talking about iOS8.0.1, are you not capable of reading properly? iOS8.0.1 Apple THEMSELVES said that iOS8.0.1 caused TouchID and reception issues

Again, we are talking about iOS8.0.1

If that doesn't get through to you then I cant help you.

Apple apologizes for iOS 8.0.1 issue, offers a temporary solution

From Apple themselves:
We have a workaround for iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus users who lost cellular service and Touch ID functionality today after updating to iOS 8.0.1. Affected users can reinstall iOS 8 through iTunes, for more information visit http://support.apple.com/kb/HT6487. We apologize for the great inconvenience experienced by users, and are working around the clock to prepare iOS 8.0.2 with a fix for the issue, and will release it as soon as it is ready in the next few days.

Wise move. I myself, have always been apprehensive of first versions... like I said in my previous post, they tend to be a "work in progress" kind of software. Which is why I always wait for a couple of updates first before I jump in.

anyway, this news just arrived;

one thing i have noticed is that is especially iphone 6 & 6+ who suffers from ios8..

my 5s and my daughter & her mother 5 & 5c run ios 8.0 perfectly...

i can again tell you people that ios 8 is extremely fast...its ridiculous fast compared to ios 6 and even ios 7.

when Apple have sorted this out ios 8 will be awesome for 6 owners.

Does anyone else have problems sending standard text messages
To other iPhones? My phone won't send unless on iMessage i changed the
Settings and it worked so it sent as standard message to another iPhone
However the problem keeps happening 😤

I've just noticed the update 8.0.2 hope it sorts this crap out 😕

The only thing I've noticed with SMS is that voice SMS was a bit slow.

I did a full reset (hold home button with on off button) after that it became better.

Apple will fix that in 8.03.

Ps. The new voice SMS is damn cool. I use it every day.

iOS 8.02 is here.

Fixes an issue in iOS 8.0.1 that impacted cellular network connectivity and Touch ID on iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus
Fixes a bug so HealthKit apps can now be made available on the App Store
Addresses an issue where 3rd party keyboards could become deselected when a user enters their passcode
Fixes an issue that prevented some apps from accessing photos from the Photo Library
Improves the reliability of the Reachability feature on iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus
Fixes an issue that could cause unexpected cellular data usage when receiving SMS/MMS messages
Better support of Ask To Buy for Family Sharing for In-App Purchases
Fixes an issue where ringtones were sometimes not restored from iCloud backups
Fixes a bug that prevented uploading photos and videos from Safari

The update itself is 1.2gb. BUT takes a whopping 3.6gb on your memory with everything installed.

Requires 5.9GB to install on an iPad, absolutely ridiculous, I must say.

We'll. it's not unusual.

Operative systems now days becomes more and more complex and have more and more build in ground apps.

Why ios8 is this big is because the new health, camera , etc, etc, applications.
