Anybody curious on how the "laser auto focus" will work and what are the chances of you blinding people in a group shot.

I'm curious if the camera sensor is any different than the one on the G2 (apart from OIS+ and that laser).
Not saying this is bad, but I just expected more (like 16MP or bigger sensor).

I just want to see if it really has 2GB RAM instead of 3GB, if so, then I'm totally put off as I'm already skeptical about how well it will run on a S801 chip with a QHD display.

Wonder if it will be a Sony sensor in there with ois+ thrown in for good measure. Possibly the same one used in the T2 Ultra I'm not sure who LG use for their camera tech.

They say the 32 GB version has 3 GB RAM, 16 GB has 2 GB RAM. Dunno why.

It looks like only the 16GB version will be available in the UK they have no mention of the 32GB version anywhere on their website.

With an SD slot 16 gig is enough for me I would never fill it up

Is anybody else not dubious about the battery performance. I know LG done a great job with the G2 but the G3 has a larger a much higher resolution screen with the same battery capacity 3000mAh.

Whatever it is, its small.. so don't expect much. If I had to guess.. right up there with the 1520/Z2/GS5 |

honestly for me
in all not impressive (camera less than the other 2014 flagships, with the same SD 801 and 3GB ram)
so really normal top notch with even less camera and battery also less or same as the One (M8), Z2 & SSGS5
except in 2 things
the bezels i die for those bezels
the QHD whatever said about the need of it or not, and how much it will take from the battery |

Camera sensor on this i believe is 1/3.06" which is quite a lot smaller than the S5.
I don't see the point of any screen under 7" or 8" having QHD, it's probably suited to tablets 10" or more.
I was surprised by the lack of fingerprint scanner and water resistance too and the battery life won't be good, they should have put a 3500mah battery in with that screen, not too keen on it really, I wouldn't buy it. |
