Well, after selling my yellow Lumia 1520 to fund an iPhone 6 plus purchase I soon found that I missed WP8.1 and more especially the 1520 so much that I had to get another. Yesterday I picked up a white 1520 and this one is a keeper. I still have the 6 plus but its great to have the 1520 back.

That's the second 1520 I've sold and the second mistake I've made by doing it.
This morning I've also traded my 6 plus for an iPhone 6, obviously with cash to me aswell. I figured I don't need two phablets so the plus had to go

The good thing about the 6 plus is the large screen for the sky go or sport mobile but other than that is very similar to 6 (better battery and OIS) but day to day i don't think these are some noticeable .
Anyway please let me know when first update is pushed to 1520 (for windows 8.1) as I am dying to get Cortana but don't feel like installing to developer software
Yesterday finally Sky finally fixed the sky sport app for wp - don't know why it took them so long but it is good as I use it quite a lot. Shame they don't have a live til just yet |

I bought an 830 last week and its a great handset for the money, it just aint a 1520 so that had to go
Cortana was quite good to be fair, location based reminders worked really well and I reckon it will develop into a great "assistant" Really looking forward to having the option on the 1520 also (without enrolling in the DP)

Going to have to send mine in for repairs.Got this light blueish blob streak across the screen.Can only see it against black.
(I think my Note 4 has been a devious little bugger and injured it because it has had enough of been shared  )

lemmy Me too. Truth is I think I will miss it.Gotten so used to carrying double guns with me everyday.Will only be able to get to the Service Centre on Saturday morning, Lets hope its a swift repair.

Sent 1520 in for repairs on Saturday morning.Got a sms saying my Job Number is ready for collection early Monday morning.Damn impressive considering the screen got replaced.Happy to have it back.Tend to find I take more photos with the 1520 than I do with the Note 4 and Instagram more when I'm using 6Tag ( my favourite WP app).
