In the newest rumor, claim that the device will not have OIS!

And this is happening because SONY (manufacturer of image sensor 920, 925 and 928) failed to integrate the optical image stabilizer to the sensor 41 MP, so it is almost certain that it has the same sensor of 41 MP 808 (manufactured by TOSHIBA), now Windows Phone!

HES9 Sensor
AT&T exclusive
Comes in yellow

Hopefully the same amazing optics from the 808.

The camera controls, oversampling, and zooming are the remaining questions.

Also, size and weight.

Regrettable !

It would be interesting image sensor giant, high pixel count, oversampling, xenon flash and OIS !

Maybe in 2014 ?

Well, im off on my holiday tomorrow so wont be around for a week and every time I go on any trip, I always wish I had an 808 with me.

But, i'll be taking my N8 and hope this will be the last time I go away without a new 41mp cameraphone. Come on Nokia pull your finger out !!

Nokia must hurry because the competition is not far behind.
The HTC One has a great new technology implemented in it's camera.
And what about the N-series and CZ lens branding?
I would like to see a Nokia N10

It's not about the sensor size here.
And it's nothing special but HTC's newest technology is improving and will be soon better than the rest.
Except for PureView of course

I would love to see that 41Mp sensor with OIS.

Anyway, I think Nokia should decrease the number of pixels and increase the pixel size, while keeping the sensor size on the big side. Picture quality might be increased at higher sensitivities by doing that. Perhaps 20Mp with the same sensor size would still allow for oversampling.

If Sony would take the beautiful RX-100 sensor onto the rumored Honami, than it would absolutely smash the 808 in terms of quality. The RX-100 can take some gorgeous shots even at ISO-3200.

That would be an absolute dream.

There is not the slightest possibility of Sony to develop something better than the 808, maybe better!

Nokia has unique features that make their devices, the best in picture and sound!

Among them are:

Pureview Pro Imaging (pixel oversampling)!

Carl Zeiss Vario Tessar that in the mobile world, Nokia devices are unique in!

Microphones High Amplitude Audio Capture (HAAC), a microphone que has two different sensitivity levels - two paths or channels for recording. The dual channel audio recording is then combined to give you a tremendously broad dynamic range. In other words, it is sensitive enough to pick up the quietest sounds, but still sounds great even During the really loud bits.

A rock concert can easily reach 120 decibels, Which poses in trouble at all for Nokia HAAC's microphone. It can record up to 140 decibels with no audible distortion. By contrast, most other mobile phone microphones struggle to handle anything above 110 decibels.!

So the most we can expect from Sony, Samsung or HTC is something like the Nokia N8!
