Yes. I can imagine them being that way too since they're so powerful.

@ Hobbs - this just illustrates my lack of in depth knowledge of Android. Ive only owned an Android phone for a year. Ive backed up my phone many times and tried to get all my apps and settings back, but lost them all. Even my contacts were not backed up. I don't know what I did or did not do but it didn't work for me.

@ Miss UK - I could never live in Apple's walled garden OS though. Apple have such brilliant USPs which are wasted on anyone like me who prefers freedom over their toys.

I agree on this article. I sold my S4(octa version) due to crap battery and lags and replaced it with HTC ONE. I charged my s4 almost thrice a day that really shame!

Very interesting article, what pops out for me is that even if the Octa CPU is'nt fully optimized yet, the GS4 Octa has some incredible battery life (in my experience), especially for an A15 Cortex based phone, it rips apart the competition. Some reviewers say it's better than the GS4 Quad others say the Quad gets better life, but either way both do a fantastic job.

What I do like here is that even if it's all true WRT optimization, the Octa still manages to push out the best benchmark scores around, AFAIK at 1.6GHz its pushing out scores similar to the 2.3GHz Qualcomm S800? I'd love to see what this beastly chip would put out at 2.3GHz, some guys at Xda are already working on OC-ing it just to see.

Anyway, I look forward to Samsungs reply to that article if they ever do reply, no doubt the Exynos Octa is proving to be quite difficult for them to build, but that comes with the territory of bringing new tech.

What's that mean in plain English??

It means extremely FAST WiFi connections! Bandwidth from 10Gigabit or 54-100MB/Second to something like 500MB+
or think of what your old 10/100Base-T Ethernet cable speeds gave your desktop vs Gigabit Ethernet (10/100/1000Base-T).

Hope everyone is enjoying their GS4s, so far thoroughly enjoying mine, so much so I got a few HD games, namely: Grand Theft Auto 3, Real Racing 3, and Downhill Xtreme, all play beautifully and look stunning on the 1080P display, I'm not big on gaming, although I am a huge GTA fan, going back to GTA2 on PS1, shocked at how PS2-like GTA3 looks, it's actually smoother on the phone.

I'm also using Go Launcher, although I'll probably head back to TouchWiz again as I usually do, but I'm enjoying just dabbling around, I've been a Go Launcher fan for some time, I just like the customizability and effeciency of this launcher and whenever I get bored of TW I bring back GoLauncher for a bit. My current setup:

Simple, functional and informative, just the way I like it.

Thanks mate, it's an awesome song, I'm a big Daft Punk and Pharrell fan, more Pharrell though.

Sweet ad by Samsung USA showing off some more features:

Must say, I am impressed by the Smart Pause feature, it does work pretty well, except when in a very dark place.

Samsung Galaxy S4 Active is official: thin waterproof 5" Full HD
goodness

http://www.phonearena.com/new[....]oof-5-Full-HD-goodness_id43699

It is literally a GS4 with IP67 certification and 8MP Camera, great going by Samsung, I thought it would have an inferior CPU/GPU to the normal GS4, I guess it's safe to say Samsung are going to have a great year, they are attacking at all fronts with the GNote2, GS4, GS4 Active, GS4 Mini and GAce3, a clearly defined 2013 product portfolio, now we are just waiting to see that GNote3.

Samsung has thrown in the "Glove Touch" mode, which lets you operate the display with mittens on, and the "Aqua Mode" in the camera app interface, which helps make better underwater pictures and video. Long-press the volume key up, and the powerful LED light becomes a torch, and that same volume rocker down can be used as a camera shutter key directly from locked mode.

I like how they've paid that extra bit of attention with this, and with all the sensors in the GS4 I look forward to seeing what more will be done they have quite literally shat on the competition here.

Great news I like the use of physical buttons, makes it easier to use when training. Using the volumerocker as shortcuts for the torch and the camera is brilliant Hope that function comes to the original S4

Still, real shame they had to downgrade the camera. Don't know why that was.
