I wish it was sooner. The speeds will be very welcome but the improved ping will make tethering with my laptop feel like I'm using home cable broadband.
I can't wait.

All I will need is a 4G phone. I don't like the idea of a software update though, sounds like a branded software update. What if I want to use an unbranded phone with my sim I bought specifically for the 4G roll out ??

Will unbranded phones require a software update? I wouldn't have thought they did. They already contain the necessary hardware.

I got a sim only deal today 12 months,£15 per month with unlimited data and tethering,2,000 minutes,5,000 texts,5,000 Three to Three minutes!!!!!!!!

Well that's what I thought based on what I know and understand how software works. But as always something comes and surprises me and changes what I thought I knew.

How the fk did you get that? I thought the cheapest One Plan deal was 25 quid?

I tested my details online with my iphone
Surprise surprise it says it was already unlocked
So I tested a 3 sim in it and it was apple must of
Swapped my phone for a unlocked one when I got
It replaced in December 
Looking forward to swapping to 3 btw
Shame I won't be able to use 4g tho no

Yep just upgraded to a hTc One so that will do to start with.

Out of all networks now I would never use any other than Three. Rarely have any issues at all or downtime
