sorry to be the one to say it, but shouldn't all these questions about software updates be going in their respective threads since they are for RELEASED phones?

let's not flood this already, MASSIVE thread, with unnecessary posts. want to compare a rumored phone with a current device? sure. want to ask something specific about a released phone? take it to that thread.

I'm sure everyone will appreciate it if we keep this thread limited to rumor discussion only.

This has been a public service announcement. Thank you.

I'm excited for Music Unlimited (and Sony's other services) becoming more integrated into their hardware. I'm considering switching from Spotify to Music Unlimited, what is holding me back is the website interface and lack of integration in the platform.

@moogoo: What is exactly wrong with discussing the future of Sony Mobile software? This thread is not just for discussing rumors (which honestly come once a week at best), but also for the future direction of Sony's hardware and software. I really think the Rumor title should really be changed to Future Sony Xperia 2013 discussion or something like that. Rumors are a big part of the thread, but also there should be discussion about future direction, news, and related tangents about technology. Unless you're providing information and rumors yourself, you don't really have a right to thread whine or moderate the thread.

nothing wrong with discussing rumors or even the future of sony software in regards to where they are headed. As long as the discussion is in regards to a future/rumored device. but discussion/questions about specific software releases for announced/released phones (e.g., When is the JB update for XP? or XS?), i think should be taken to their specific threads.

that's all i have to say about it. people will post what they will.

Hope Sony won't use it because it cant produce accurate and natural colours and it has short lifespan but seriously this thing looks better and more natural than samsung super amoled. The first oled display with full RGB nice

So, AUO is willing if their customers are willing. I'd say Sony should go for this one!

If the Dogo is due to release in May/June time and Sony still isn't promoting/advertising its imminent release, then will it be a sudden release (just as was the case with the Xperia SP and the L) ?

Yep, he did. He edited it out, though.

Yes AUO and Sony work together for OLED

@itsjustJOH

I edited out the AHVA part after checking some sources, that panel is not on the list of probable screens for One Sony. Only the AUO OLED panel could make it if it goes into production soon.

You could say that

Whitemagic - 60% chance
IGZO - 30% chance
OLED - 10% chance

@random
Will One sony still has bravia engine or x-reality if One Sony uses Oled screen? It will be super duper saturated if they included bravia engine in one sony oled display in my opinion
