Sony is getting screwed by qualcomm again...
thats why its important for them to invest in this business, so they would have their own interests first. |

So lets see whether Sony C680X use snapdragon 800 or 600(mostly will be this one) or still APQ8064? |

Seems like Sony will be stuck with all the no-name manufacturers (like oppo and whatnot) using s4 pro. HTC and LG will use the newer snapdragon 600 in their 1080p flagships. Sony is getting screwed by qualcomm again...
Well what you get with Z/ZL is basically a better looking Optimus G. That's why I didn't go for the upcoming flagship(s).
IMO, S4 pro is a top notch 2012 contender and as such is outdated for a 2013 flagship.

We will reveal that information in April. Please do not ask about C680X until than.

Qualcomm has never screwed Sony. Last year the issue was with the foundry (TSMC) that had production problems with 28nm wafers. This affected not only Sony but also Nvidia and AMD.
This is a business, not high school, do you seriously believe Qualcomm told Sony: No thank you we do not want your money because we like LG and HTC more? Qualcomms goal like any company is to make as much money as possible
Most likely S600 did not fit in Sonys schedule or they wanted to pay less money and chose APQ8064
Qualcomm is getting rid of APQ8064 and replacing with S600 so most likely it was sold cheaper than what it cost to buy S600

An indefinite wait for Dogo, Xperia SP, Xperia L and C360X, then a long wait for C680X. I think I'll have myself entertained with MWC sans Sony, and later's HTC event. And not to forget, Samsung's earlier-than-it's-supposed-to-be March 14 announcement. Just hoping Xperia Z's launch would not be crippled by the hype these events would create. |

^Buyers might choose other competitors for using newer SOC. |

can't agree more
+1 even for me i prefer the time schedule scenario , or if not and they have time they might put the APQ in the and put the 600 in the XZ for example
time frame is the only main reason
