@Maia... Does that mean Sony won't manufacture Rugged phones like Z,V,Go anymore or they won't manufacture rugged phones only for Japanese market...???
it means that they are not going to do more phones like Tipo and Miro!! |

yes i told you
what SONY did is a device that can hold its-self well if wet or felt down in bath tub
but what PANASONIC do is a devices to swim with
kinda of Active safety as in PANASONIC and PASSIVE safety as in SONY
and i return the PANASONIC designs looks odd but the SONY ones can use fiber optics and high end materials
it is a comparison between Elite and Rugged , the Elite got some rigidity but it 'll never reach the Rugged |

Mhh I don't understand. Both Eluga and Xperia Z are IP57 certified, right? Where is the exact difference? |

Basically, 'rugged' was wrongly used when defining Sony phones. For Panasionic, we mean RUGGED, as in you can use that phone to swim with you for much longer than 30mins, or even go diving with etc.
Eluga was nowhere near as rugged as Panasonic are famed for. |

Looks really nice!
Is there going to be a mid-high range 4-4.3" phone released by Sony. Not hugely concerned about quad core, just Jelly Bean? I'm considering the Z, because its gorgeous, but the size is a bit of a concern.
Also, anyone here with any info on when Sony will release their 2013 Vaio S? I'm backflipping between the Vaio S15 and the Asus U500. The Vaio just has a MUCH slower GPU (GT640M LE vs GT650M in the Asus). Goddamn it all.
