there is no perfect solution of course.
but i think my muting method, if it was a feature of esato forums, would work. if a user continued to create accounts using new email addresses, the site can easily detect IP addresses and blacklist them. it's just a matter of adding the features.
of course there are ways to get around that too.. like i said, nothing is perfect. But, for the average troll/hostile poster, it's too much trouble to go through just to cause trouble.

In another forum I'm on, they are quite strict with rules.
They a have a system in which if a member violates one of the many rules listed in their forums (such as using insults, trolling, provoking, unappropriate post) they will get a warning (a quote with red text stating a warning added to their post, and the reason why he/she was warned) if you accumulate 3 warnings then you'll be automatically banned from the forums. Of course 1 warn is removed per month if you did not violate any rules.
Anyway we are getting slightly offtopic , rumor thread is slow today.

the other forum I know has features to allow OP to restrict only user accounts registered/created more than X days can reply in a thread and that X can be adjusted as OP wish by editing the thread. |

I would say we should all act 'normal'.
I love the right off 'free speech', unfortunate that leaves us with a very thin line when it comes to trolling and insulting.
Ban people is a hard option. I rather don't do that.
Back to topic. Any news on the horizon?

Since this is the rumors thread..
Whats the situation with sony and its software are they going to improve it the first time around I mean when they release a phone? I mean the Oppo N1 will use a sony exmor rs sensor 13mp one, the last oppo did also use a Sony sensor so does apple and samsung but they know how to optimize it. Is it something Sony is working on hard??
Josh did literally plead to sony on the vergecast saying Sony you invented the camera it is yours why don't you give me a great one. I sort of agree with him, the hardware is good the software lets it down always for some reason.
Josh talking about Sony and cameras then nilay kicks in with the display -_-
So is Sony uping its game on the software side? Is the sort of feud between lund and tokyo over?
Also one more thing is Sony from now on going to only take LCD panels from JDI or the same guys who made the xperia s panel? cause that one is awesome I still love it, T and Z both well weren't that great for me.
Any insider info on these things ? Cause specs will come and go these things would be discussed in the planning stage right cause as far as I see it these are the only things that stop the z1 from being a 10/10 for me.
P.s I'm not trolling I just want to know and I want them to fix it.
