@Ramu,
Are the 3 devices going to be released at the same day or it's gonna be 3 different events?
Although I might want Honami, Huyiu said that is bigger than the Z and it might be too big for me as I have small hands
So I might get Ray3 if its released this year yet.

No, not same day.
Ray 3 release date is not fixed, could be end Dec or Early Jan 2014. |

My personal opinion on Ultra
Positive
1- Design and ergonomics...
2- Technology within...
3- Large size
4- screen technology ( need to see real reviews but I put it any way as it should be better at least than Z one )
Negative
1- Battery, Preferring slightly thicker with larger battery even with the more efficient screen..
2- Size is large, which is good, but not the sweet spot which the Note series found, I hope Sony will release another phone with smaller 5.5 ~ 5.7...
3- No included stylus, thought some might say the fact that the phone can handle any thing... but included stylus is very good addition, thought there will be no space for it in this thin package...
4- Flash LED ?
5- Sony still stingy with internal memory even for 2013 high-end ? they didn't hear our and all the reviews regarding Z internal memory size ? If Sony want to make premium phone and distinguish them self as that, they just can't do it with 16GB even if they offer much larger than competitors of user space ( 11GB for Sony vs. 10GB for some )... at least partition the Phone memory and Internal memory so JB can move apps...
If they saw that most peoples feeling enough with 16GB then they should go for two versions ( 16GB and 32GB )... but still as a premium handset maker and as a High-end... 32GB is a minimum... and please use FAT32 for internal storage or make two partitions ( Phone as ext4 and internal as FAT32 ) so we can have our Mass Storage back again !! MTP is just sucks and very slow... go back to Mass Storage till you find another better protocol !!

Oh f**k, guess I'll be waiting to see how honami is to finally get my decision
If Sony is releasing an Z with S800(Guess the Z2 maia was talking about) Why they don't do the same to Xperia Tablet Z?
I mean, if I remember correctly, Ramu said that an Xperia tablet with S800 is coming later in January, but by then, Qualcomm will probably be announcing their new chipset, and then again, Xperia tablet will not have the latest CPU in the market, not that I care anymore, but if they intend to sell I think that's a dumb decision |

Tablet market is different from smartphone market. Tab Z has APQ8064 CPU which is almost a year old, how many other tablets are there with APQ8064 or better CPU right now ? None.

Yeah, that's a fact.. I'll be getting next Sony Xperia tablet if it is the same as xperia z ultra but in a bigger screen
As I said, I don't really care about processors anymore (not after s800), but apparently a lot of people do |

The Ray3 specs are a great news as I need to migrate someone who is not comfortable with 5inch to docomo.
What is Ray 3 codename in Sony, and/or the code number?
Also I think that the mystery device is not a Z with a snapdragon 800.
Do you really think they would need to keep it that secret?
I think it is more likely to be a camera centric phone that was described by Maia.

I believe randomuser wrote the code number C460X previously

There shoudn't be '4' in any of Sony's model ID. 4 is bad luck in Chinese and I think Japanese culture. |

Togari is really nice, really a BEAST within the BEAUTY, very slim one (like a hot girl? lol)
Im glad the screen is better than Z. (even though I dont even think Z is that bad) but that Z + ZU comparison from huiyi does make it clear that it has better viewing angles (so that those complaining people can shut up..)
Anyways, 6.44inch is still too big -.-" doesnt fit in my pocket anymore. so I will wait for Honami and replace it with my current S. who else is waiting for Honami now Togari is announced?

Ah it wouldn't be Sony if they didn't screw something up.
no flash
no built in stylus (because device too thin)
possibly too big, it's almost as large as a nexus 7 ffs
too small battery (because device too thin)
price, at 719 euros ouch
sony should provide some kind of keyboard cover or along those lines, because this thing is huge.
It's good, but again not what it could be. |

I think they did it on purpose wth reducing camera specs (800MP only, no LED flash) and not too big battery.
They promote Ultra as the BIG waterproof camera with pen-support, for big entertainment when they also introduce Triluminos and as 1st user of Snapdragon 800.
They have to hold themselves back BEFORE coming with "The best of Sony in a Camera smarthphone"
Ultra is focused on big new screen, while the Honami will be focussed on its Camera features.
I mean if Ultra also has beast camera specs, the Honami would be useless.... so I understand that you have to hold-back sometmes. not offering all your best cards but SPLIT them into different devices.
I still believe the "one Sony" will be a break-through starting with Honami

Those are not screw ups. Thin designs have compromises. When Galaxy S4 came with a steep price, you didn't complain. When Galaxy Mega 6.3 came, you cheered with it. Seriously? |

RRP is 679 Euros. Actual selling price will be around 600 Euros - Same as Z launch price. So your complaint regarding price is invalid. |
