Seems they pulled the update shortly after release, it's a damn shame.

@Shotokan81 - is than an IPHONE i see? Blasphemer!!!

So, Honami isn't as camera centric as some of us would have liked it to be. No big deal. Having a xenon flash would have been nice, but apparently, we'll be getting a thinner device instead. That should make some people happy. With a bigger sensor and exmor-rs, low light photos should still be better than older phones. not to mention the new jpg algorithm. overall, we SHOULD see an improvement over older models and should be better than other flagship general purpose phones since honami will have a larger sensor.

it is interesting to me that it will have interchangeable lens design on a non-camera centric phone. almost seems gimmicky at that point. but either way, as much as i love photography, i wouldn't be one to invest in interchangeable lenses for my phone when i'd much rather invest in lenses for my dSLR.

If Honami is comparable to the Nokia EOS, Honami will outsell it because of the OS.

What r u guys smokin ???
Just d absence of xenon turns a camera centric device into one with average cam? Grow up people...
If 'a really big 1/1.5" sensor, professional quality sony G lens, Bionz processor, interchangable lenses, all new jpeg algorithm, cybershot interface in cam app' aren't the indications of a great camera... I just don't know what actually is required so that u guys wud call it a great cam.
And btw... Lack of xenon is purely a rumor!!! There is no whatsoever concrete evidence...
U guys will b allowed to cry/moan once official announcement takes place & d lack of xenon is confirmed!!!

There are good alternatives to xenon flash. Honami might have one such alternative.

No...u gettin wrong with our mind...no body said that honami will be gonna be bad at all...but look at sony's rival, samsung have their zoom n nokia with their EOS, they provide it with xenon...n if sony want to rise, they lost the start if honami doesnt have any factor that complete it to be the tough rival. N yes u right that its still be a rumor, thats because this forum is talk about rumor, if they allready announce it, than this is the wrong place to talk about. N once again, I think u have underestimate our source info here...hehehe

have you guys seen this?

Xperia V gets lost at sea; reunited four days later in perfect nick

at 1:36 they showed how the V compete with the Z, and the V won. I guess the V has greater durability (better built) than the Z.

Honami better be as durable as the V lol

I'd really like to see 1 finger zoom make a return for the browser. I liked that feature and it would be welcome on Togari.
