>500, AFAIK, not even LTE qualifies as 4G yet. LTE Advanced is 4G. But officially, no current standard meets 4G specifications, nor have any of them been officially certified as 4G (even if they meet spec), hence cannot be called 4G.

I get what you mean, but LTE is closer to 4g than HSPA
this is a good read about 4g:

i checked the specs, is this phone really HSPA+ 4G (as in for T-Mobile USA) compatible along with LTE? or is the HSPA+ a
European band? I thought the 1700mhz band is required for T-Mobile to get 3G, but I'm not sure if it's required for T-Mobile USA 4G(HSPA+).
can anyone clarify it for me? and what is the expected release date? same as Xperia T/TX?
HSPA+ is part of the 3G standard and hence is not compatible with LTE. The word 4G is loosely used by carriers to indicate a high speed mobile network, which may use any technology such as WiMAX, HSPA+ or LTE.

But with it being quad band 4G, and tri band 3G
GSM GPRS/EDGE 850, 900, 1800, 1900
UMTS HSPA+ 850, 900, 2100
LTE Band I, Band III, Bandv V, Band VII and Band XX
Here is a list of the bands and which operators use them. Hope it helps.

thanks.
even if not 4G T_Mobile USA, 3G is a big step up from the Acro S. and with T-Mobile adding LTE beginning of 2013, LTE will be useful.
So when is the expected released date? I was thinking about buying the Xperia T, but this Xperia V just seems like the better buy, although the T/TX is a great phone as well, with possible 3G/4G t-mobile USA.
T-mobile USA network. Xperia x10i unlocked + 32GB / Xperia Neo Xperia TX LT29i Xperia Z C6606 Xperia L C2104 Xperia M Dual C2004 Currently using Xperia Z1s C6916 (T-Mobile USA)

If T-Mobile will have LTE early next year then it's a good idea to at least have your phone ready for it - which is my plan of action.
I'm guessing we'll see the V before the end of November, can't come soon enough for me.

How does camera key help when there is a click option on screen?

I always used to think lack of a camera key is a dealbreaker for me, but now even though my Live has one, it's soooo easy to just tap anywhere on the screen to focus and take a shot, that I seem to do that more than using the dedicated key now! (I don't like Samsung's solution though; an on-screen button on the right side of the screen). I think i can live without a camera key now

Exactly, I never use camera key. I use the touch to focus and do settings and then just click on touchscreen. I want to know how people use camera key? Like what is the real difference between camera key and touch.

I prefer camera key as compared to touch. But not when its really tiny and hard to press.. I just find it easier and prevents shaking the camera

Ok, let's say it's possible to live without camera button, but what about fast capture? With this button it's easy as pie, You take out the phone and press camera key. Not so with V |

Exactly and the odds are you are not going to do that all the time to click a photo. But how does that stop someone buying a phone which has no camera key?

The V does have fast capture. You press the power key and use the camera unlock slider and a pic is taken. Same as the go. |

??!!
Well, it allows precise zooming and capturing, instead of just one press which is a total cr..p
unless you make occasional landscape shots only.
You'll never have the real precision with onscreen button especially in more difficult situation,
not even mentioning much more comfortable hand positins.
Shutter key is two step BTW.
