Updated.

I can never get the width of the thread images right. The forum ends up resizing them in these annoying boxes.

I am updating the phone section with the new phones and wanted to share the differences between the Xperia TX and Xperia T. The exterior is not identical with keys and ports located on different locations.

Xperia T
Weight: 148 gram
Size: 129.4 x 67.3 x 9.35 mm
Multitouch: 4 fingers
Battery: 1850 mAh - fixed
Talktime: 7 hours
Standby time: 450 hours

Xperia TX
Weight: 127 gram
Size: 131 x 68.6 x 8.6 mm
Multitouch: 10 fingers
Battery: 1750 mAh - removable
Talktime: 6 hours 40 minutes
Standby time: 300 hours

Xperia TX is using the same Snapdragon S4 chipset as the HSPA (LT30p) version of Xperia T, but the TX Whitepaper claims that the Xperia TX has a Adreno 220 GPU while Xperia T has a more powerful 225 GPU. I am not sure if this is correct as the Snapdragon spec sheet from Qualcomm only list the Adreno 225 as an option with the MSM8260A chipset.

I am sure you all know about the Esato phone comparison feature

Xperia TX definitely has Adreno 225...
Check out this video
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-8U3-5t4kCY
The Nenamark 2 Score at 2:20 is 58.4FPS which is only possible by Adreno 225...Adreno 220 has never crossed 40FPS on a 720p display...

First just for clarifications, MSM8260 have Adreno 220, MSM8260A have Adreno 225 there's no other versions so you can be sure...

Second.. the first WP for TX has mentioned only MSM8260, but shortly after that; they reuploaded the WP with MSM8260A and specified Krait core... but the GPU Adreno kept unchanged...

So I believe that they missed the Adreno and forget to change it to Adreno 225 ( in MSM8260A ) compared to the old Adreno 220 ( in MSM8260 )... I think I might have the older WP where they still didn't changed the SoC to MSM8260A from MSM8260 if you want to be more sure... but I assure you it's MSM8260A with Adreno 225...

Well, I hope you do realize that the three new Sony Xperias are almost half an year late to the party, in which the other brands have already taken the main places. And T & V are just slightly better than the other quad-cores, mentioned in the tests, aka nothing remarkable to excuse the delay. Furthermore, while the other phones are already available on the market, we still talk about Sony's new additions to the Xperia family in future tense. The best of all - I'm sure when S3 gets its JB update ( in a week or so ), it'll beat Sony's red ass.

And T is still ugly, even on the official press photos.

The best mobile phone brand died with Sony Ericsson's death. Shame on you Sony for killing it! And, of course, for ruining the Xperia brand...
