Eventhough the Xperia active is far from popular compared to the other Xperias, here is a picture thread anyway!

To get things started, here's a few pictures taken with mine:

Thanks.
The active is not actually added to the phone database for the galleries, it just appears as "ST17i" in the list of SE phones, without an "avatar". http://www.esato.com/phonepho[....]make=Sony+Ericsson&model=ST17i
It doesn't give specific info about the phone, either. I think they should add Xperia active to the gallery's phone database.

I am.
I had an Xperia mini pro before this one, but it wasn't really a suitable phone for the harsh conditions at work.

I can also confirm that, unlike with the Xperia mini pro, the image stabilizer actually works pretty well on the active. It does in fact make the details in pictures more clear in most cases.

I have found out that autofocus in the stock camera application of (at least) the Xperia active is very inaccurate; very often it will focus incorrectly, making the lines and details in pictures blurry.

Look at this picture in full size:

Now I have tried a different camera application "Camera ICS", and this one always focuses perfectly. Every single picture is as sharp as they can get for this phone:

Not yet.
But I'm uncertain about whether or not I'll upgrade, there are just too many problems being reported on the Sony Mobile support forum as for now.
ICS was designed on a dual-core phone with 1024 Mb of RAM, Xperia 2011 phones are single-cores with 512 Mb of RAM...

What about HD video recording? Is it smooth or laggy? And what about picture quality?
