@djin did you mean Lumia utpdate battery life or N8?? The Lumia update was a cocky up by Nokia as it did nothing to change the battery life. But they have again heard the complaints and are working on another update. They are trying. As for Symbian Anna update I never noticed difference in the battery no. All new N8 devices now will ship with Belle say Nokia. Belle is good. As for ram I see your point there but also the GS2 does have 1 gig ram. Even my Android phone I have to reboot sometimes to refresh ram. It's healthy to do it once a day according to SE.

It is good to reboot your phone now and then, but it shouldnt be something that has to be done too frequently, maybe once every month or so.
In the days of the P990 a daily reboot was understandable.

@djin. The update did nothing for my battery life. Yes I can charge it to really full and the given hours are correct. I changed back to previous FirmWare to find out exactly and now, after a few days, I just don't get a full day out of it. not even from dusk till dawn. But, there are people who claim to get 4 days. I bet they have all connections turned of and only look once a day to see if it's still running. New FW does make Lumia800 run a bit smoother, as if that was possible

Yes as it's smooth anyway. When I did the update at first battery seemed better but then went worse again I have a feeling something in the Lumia is not receiving the battery correctly

I charged it till 11pm last night.
Refilled it from 50% to 85% at 8am
Hooked it in again at 18pm
Some people have good batteries and get 3 days out of it.
Am I such a heavy user? Just a bit above average I think.
