I may be going back to buying an N8 next week. Seen them brand new on Amazon for £250. I miss the camera and wanna try out Belle when it comes. Also Android sometimes gets boring

haha, yeh. And it's covered in paint and has numerous gouges in it. And often a cracked screen but still being used.

Any phone gets boring after a while. I dont think Belle will be any different.

I never got bored of the look of my Satio, or the ergonomics which are brilliant (especially the camera part).
But I was so over the OS. The Neo is a revelation. There are a few things I'd change about Android, but it's still the best phone OS by far.

The thing i loved about the Satio was how easy it was to hold the phone steady to take pictures thanks to its rather square sides and front, unlike my N8 which having rounded sides almost is like holding a slippery bar of soap when using the camera one handed which is most evident when taking pictures of yourself and girlfriend holding the phone looking back at you from arms length.
Im surprised my N8 didnt take a tumble in this way before. But no, mine took its bad tumble due to pure bad luck !!

I remember me dropping my X10 MP from my pants pocket while I was sat down in my work's chair.
Those were some seconds of fear. Hopefuly the phone didn't get a scratch at all. But that scene won't be ever forgotten.

It's like it all happens in slow motion & it's the end of the world My Samsung Wave 2 is a lovely premium design of solid 135grams of metal & I know if it dropped it would fall heavy. Even though it would probably survive with it's solid build & gorilla glass,it still upsets you when that premium look has been ruined by a fall with a lovely big DENT But I have not dropped it. Yet.

I am a Millwall supporting Scaffolder so if that fits in to your stereotype of builders fair enough. Apart from the pic I posted my phone reamins in mint condition and unscathed so no paint or gouges it's only when it falls from my pocket or is dropped.

You know did anyone see Watchdog programme the other week?? They showed the so called shock, dust & water proof Motorola Defy where customers were complaining it was not. They were saying they had smashed screens(Gorilla Glass) when it fell on carpets. Which I did not believe I think people tell lies cos there is no way a screen would smash on a carpet

Heh, i like how you put a smiley after saying that, when i doubt thats the very last thing you wanted to do when it happened.
@ Bon - im sure it would smash even on a carpet covered floor if hit from a certain angle. Theres always a weak spot no matter how small our human engineers cannot find. Theres too many variables in reality.

I think the Gorilla glass is just scratch resistant not shatter proof. I remember I dropped a Nokia phone(forget which one)down a stone stair case & I watched it bounce down each step like in slow motion
