How is the incall volume on the Arc?
This is my main concern after the poor in call volume on my X10.

The guy who bought the phone at xda says it already rebooted a few times since he used it. |

Does that mean that its likely that all units will experience the same problem??

I have been using the Arc for 9 days. I haven't experienced one reboot so far. Maybe the guy at the other forum heard this from another guy at another forum which wasn't telling the truth? |

Is this still a common problem with SE do you know??
I use to have re-booting problems with my K750 K800, and K850. My last phone was a C905, but didn't have it long enough to find out.

Well I trust what laffen says cos all Xperia phones I have ever had except the x10 Mini have never had reboots.

That's reassuring then, as its my first SE Android phone, and I don't want to be shelling out over £400 if I'm going to have my Arc rebooting at random. There is nothing worse when that happens.

I think it shows not just the stability of Android but the quality of Sony Ericsson software/hardware too. I had alot of niggles about the x10 but now with Sony Ericsson using Gingerbread I know it will be promising. I say that cos I have used Gingerbread on Nexus S but have gone right off Samsung. Gingerbread is fast and combined with SE need I say more. I cannot wait for my Neo.

The x8 which is great for the price but I need more higher quality. That's why I want Neo. Despite my sometimes annoyances with Sony Ericsson I always end up back with them after trying other manufacturers. That speaks volumes and I think they have come good this time they have turned a corner for the better. Never had any reboots with x8 or x10 I think sometimes people are over doing it with their devices running and expecting it to work like a real computer but it won't so people get many reboots.

interesting to hear you mentioning about the nexus s earlier, as I was thinking of getting that before the Arc.

Well nearly every Samsung handset I have owned seems to have a very bad over heating problem. The Galaxy S the Wave and Nexus S they all seem to become so hot whilst in use I had experienced reboots

Yeah that wasn't a bug with the X10 that was the WiFi policy setting.
Incredible S will be 2.3 aswell. The Evo 3D is running 2.3 and can clearly be seen to be faster than the Arc.
But the Evo 3D is dual core 1.2Ghz and 1080p video aswell as the 3D so a very different phone to the Arc.
And it's a HTC so turn on usb debugging the second you get it and buy yourself an extra battery =)
And from the benchmarks I have seen on the evo 3D so far it isn't a single bit better then the arc in processing power

Perhaps you would need an extra battery seeing if you want every app like weather updating every 5 seconds. I personally haven't had the need to do that. That battery is 1730 mah last time I looked and the Arc's is 1500 mah.....
